What's great about it: "Affordable" True Sine Wave offers good short term aquarium protection
Long story short - APC's customer service was exceptional. This UPS was purchased as a battery backup to run an aquarium - apparently you need a "true sine wave" UPS to prevent damage to water circulation pumps used in aquariums. APC told me which product lines were compatible with my needs, and even helped me figure out what would work best, as well as how long options might last given my estimate of power consumption.
Of course, I hooked this up on Friday, tested it, and it worked seamlessly. Today, only 4 days later, we had the first power outage we've ever had in Duluth since moving here. It only lasted about an hour, but the UPS kept things running the entire time. It performed just as expected. I am very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy to set up.
What's not so great: Original unit was non-functional and had to be returned.
After receiving my first unit it failed to work at all. After contacting ASP Support they were very helpful and shipped me a new unit in 2 days from California. The support was outstanding. After receiving the new unit it worked fine and I am completely satisfied. Only problem was the delay from first unit until receipt of second one from APC.
I would recommend this to a friend!
