What's great about it: Easy setup, does as it promises, no issues
What's not so great: nothing
This product couldn't be easier to use. Comes with instructions but you wouldn't even really need them. Plug it in, connect to your router and its going. I actually connected a second wireless router to the far end, effectively using it as a range extender (the range extender I tried didn't work) albeit on a separate network. No problems whatsoever. I easily recommend it.

What's great about it: Easy to use and does what it's advertised to do.
What's not so great: Blocks half of a standard outlet. No passthru plug.
If you are a gamer looking for a higher speed alternative to wireless and running a wire isn't an option, this just might be your ticket. Unit is simple plug and play. One piece goes at the router, the other at the computer. I was getting well over 100 Mbps with the computer on the other side of the house and up a floor from the router. For comparison, my wired speed is close to 125 Mbps and I can't even keep my WiFi connected the signal is so weak. Needless to say, I can finally play my games with no lag, no wire, and no WiFi signal to fight with. Awesome!

Wanted to gain access to the internet for DirecTV On-Demand service without having to add wires through the house. Could have done wireless connection, but was worried about speed and lags when downloading video. These adapters were simple to plug into outlets and have provided good speed when downloading content to our DVR. No problems encountered.

Brighthouse installed my modem in a horrible spot. they refused to put it with my tv because we have dish. I had no way to run cables to my entertainment center so i used this to put my router in a more central location. works great and its fast. the price bugged me at first but after using it a while it has paid for itself. well worth the 100$. pretty much plug and play, set it and forget it.

Installation was simple and fast. I took me longer to walk between the two locations in the house to plug in the devices than it took to perform the remaining tasks. Would highly recommend it.

I bought this to replace our wi-fi ethernet bridge which would not link up with our new ATT Uverse Gateway. I was able to set up the Netgear Powerline within 5 minutes, and 5 minutes later I was streaming Netflix through our LG Bluray HTS. We have not had to reset it once and the streams have been the strongest quality that we have ever had. We are very happy with the Powerline.

I installed this to replace a wireless bridge that was installed about 50 feet from the wireless access point. The latency of the wireless connection was very bad and unreliable. The powerline adapter is fast and consistent. It's not as fast as a real ethernet connection, but much better than wireless.

What's great about it: Easy to setup, fast, competitive price
What's not so great: Can't think of anything...
Usually use a wireless bridge when we need to hook up devices where we don't have network connectivity. Have never been happy with the speed of these devices, nor of the difficulty in setting up.
This product is awesome! Very fast, and couldn't be easier to setup. You just plug each device into an outlet, and press a button on each unit for them to auto-connect. Within 60 seconds your setup is done! Much faster than standard wireless N.

What's great about it: Speed, Range and easy setup
What's not so great: pricey but worth every penny!
The Netgear adapter allowed me to extend wi-fi to the basement of my large house. Before the adapter and with the router on the 2nd floor, wi-fi in the basment was hit or miss. After the adapter I dare say the connection is faster than anywhere in the house. Easy to connect and works great! Two thumbs up!

What's great about it: Does what it says it does
What's not so great: Little finicky to get installed and running
Our XBOX 360 in the basement could not connect to our new WPA-2 secured wireless network. I could either stump up an outrageous $80.00-ish for a new XBOX 360 wireless adaptor or go for the NETGEAR Powerline adaptor so I could wire the XBOX 360 into the network and have more connection options in the basement.
Installed very easily. The user manual was little confusing on how to get the two adaptors to recognise each other but with a little fiddling I was able to get it working. Since then no problems, kids have access to XBOX live, and don't have to worry about wireless signal strength in the basement.

What's great about it: Simple setup and conection.
What's not so great: No problems yet!!
Bought this product severa weeks ago, relying on previous reviews. Had to move my wireless router into a downstairs bedroom, which caused signal issues with the computer upstairs. Connected one adapter to the router and the other to the upstairs computer and the network connection has been solid!!! Perfect solution for places in the house when there is weak signal strength or dead signal and running an ethernet cable from the router to the computer is not practical and would be a tripping hazard.
