Feels clunky & TERRIBLE space bar

What's great about it: Like zoom feature, back/forward buttons on keyboard
What's not so great: SPACE BAR
All of the keys feel tight, like you have to push too hard, but the space bar is terrible. You have to hammer on it, and it doesn't always work. While I like the shape of the mouse, it, too, feels clunky and just a little too big.
I've been using it about 2 weeks, but I'm going to see if I can return it because the space bar issue is just unacceptable!

What's great about it: Works Perfectly, No Problems after using it for over 1 year
What's not so great: Wimpy feet to prop it up slightly.
I have had my key board for over a year and it works perfectly! It does what it is supposed to do and I can work it from over 10 feet away, probably farther if the room was bigger. Never a problem with it, I’ve had to replace the one AA battery in the mouse a couple of times, they last about 6 months and have never replaced the ones in the keyboard. All the buttons work and are great short cuts, calculator, web home, search, mail etc. The only down side is the wimpy feet that prop it up. Well worth the money!

What's great about it: Split keyboard
What's not so great: Price, looses connection constantly, not available without mouse
This keyboard is probably the worst wireless product I have ever owned, it drops signal multiple times every day requiring a reconnect.
I love the style of keyboard so I am living with it, I have very large hands and the split keyboard puts my wrists at the perfect angle. The ergonomic keyboards that aren't split don't have enough room. If MS could get wireless down like Logitech then this would be a top notch product.
Also, I did not want the mouse, just the keyboard but MS doesn't sell it that way.

What's great about it: Basic Computing would work like a dream!
What's not so great: Gaming with this is not feasable.
I bought this Mouse/Keyboard combo with the plan to wirelessly Game from about a 6-8 foot distance. At first everything was smooth. The software installed very seamlessly and the mouse and keyboard picked right up and started working like a dream. In Internet Explorer, Word, Notepad it worked great. As soon as I started to run any Games both the mouse and the keyboard became very intermittent. Barely worked and was difficult to even close or minimize the games. Oddly enough when I minimized the games the keyboard and mouse worked fine just not while used in the games.

What's great about it: Nothing so far
What's not so great: Buggy software, even latest version under W7
After spending a couple of hours with the keyboard hanging for 3-5 seconds after every mouse click, I went back to my old Logitech set. Then I uninstalled the lousy MS software and tried again with generic drivers - problem solved and Logitech re-retired.
Both keyboard and mouse will take some getting used to. Mouse is too tall to stay in the keyboard tray when I slide it under the desk. Given the software problems, I could go as high as 4 stars someday. If I can get used to being ergonomically correct.
