We live right at the 30mi mark from our local broadcasters. Picks up most of the channels though my in store sales person warned me most folks around here are lucky to pull one or two even with a more powerful unit. Very pleased with performance, thinking we just need to move to a better area! Haha

What's not so great: cost
It works, don’t expect miracles it picks up local on air channels, you may have to move around to get the best reception but once you find the sweet spot don’t move it.

Pretty much plug in and start watching TV. I only get about 8 channels but but they all come in as well as cable. The HD channels look great.

What's great about it: Size, ease of set up, quality of the TV reception.
We were very happy to find that the clear reception for many local TV channels were available with this antenna once we did connect it to a HD TV. Will be a great option in a guest bedroom to offer local news and other TV channels to visitors without the use of another little used cable TV box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am pleased with this product. I decided to discontinue cable and purchased this for basic channel reception. I am pleased with the performance of this product. I live around a lot of trees and was worried that I would not get very good reception. I get all the local channels and they come in clear. Of course reception is lost occasionally due to weather but never lasts for more than a few seconds. I was especially happy with the customer service I received from Antennas Direct when calling them for information regarding the Antenna.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This antenna gets decent reception, I am still not impressed with antenna reception in general, but this one reliably gets the same channels everyday. Which is an improvement over my last one.

I live on the forth floor in N.Dallas (not far north) just north of loop 12 south of I635. This only brought in a couple of channels. We have like 30 or so broadcast digital station. This only got a few. No where near 25 miles to the Cedar Hill broadcast Hill. Dallas is mosty flat. This is garbage.

I'm in downtown Atlanta and a few building may obstruct signals, but those channels that i do receive are crystal clear on my HDTV Plasma.

What's not so great: unable to program out what you don't want
So this paid for itself in the first month of dropping cable tv. The HD is crystal clear for the free broadcast stations (and I didn't have to pay extra f/the HD). Granted, the number of stations is limited by what is broadcast within the receivers range. Ie., I get about 30 stations (2 don't come in, the analog's are fuzzy but reproduced elsewhere in HD, 1/3 stations in spanish, 1/3 God stations and the rest are local, THIS movies, WeTv old tv, NOVA and Cool tv music). Hey...I'm satisfied and not as broke $. Hint: follow the instructions to get the location of your nearby antennaes and aim that way.

I used this to replace a Phillips HD antenna with plug in amplification that did not work very well for UHF channels. This one seems to do pretty well in our area. When I first change the channel it comes and goes for a minute or 2 but then locks in and gives good reception.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This attenna is easy to assemble, works well, and picks up many high-quality HD channels. However, it does not pickup the NBC affiliate in Orlando, FL - WESH Channel 2. Otherwise, a very good antenna.

I originally bought this for my Summer cottage. The only channel it could pick up was FOX network. There are too many trees and we could not get reception. We brought it home to Easthampton and used it on a TV in the bedroom. It gets 25 channels so we didn't need to connect the cable there. It's great if you have Dish Network and they don't include the local channels.

What's great about it: you get the strongest channels (2)
What's not so great: you need to boost that amplifier to reach further than 20 miles
I got this antenna to replace the one I originally bought
the 'amplified' antenna is the option if you live in the mountains
I had to do a house mod of enhancing the amplification ratio by adding an iron piece with some copper wire
all by itself it gave me 2 channels, with my house mod I got 5 ;)
I would recommend this to a friend!
