What's great about it: The great sound quaility
What's not so great: nothing
i have a pair of rockford fosgate 12" p1 subs connected to this amp and i barely have the amp turned up and it hits hard in my 94 rodeo, i love that i have room to adjust the sound if i want it to be harder bass or softer bass

What's great about it: the size, wattage, the bass boost control
What's not so great: the price
I purchased this amp as a replacement for the pioneer i had for 5yrs. I recently brought a pair of 12" kenwood subs and the match is perfect. I have them wired to pull the full 500 watts out the amp giving me the nice tight bass i like. $20-$40 less i would give an excellent on value for price.

What's great about it: great power, hasn't overheated through rigorous use
What's not so great: I don't have any complaints
I have this amp hooked up to my 2 12" Kenwood performance subs and the sound is amazing. Living in MN, the cold weather has some affect on the system, but once the car is warmed up, the amp power improves dramatically! i have this amp bass boost set on 3. there's 18 levels, and even on level 3, it shakes the car! the sound is amazing. i was a little nervous when i heard that it overheats, but mine hasn't overheated and can still go louder. my advice, spend the $200 on this amp, because it is by far the best amp i've had. Beats Xplod, Rockford, and any other amp you throw at it. you will not regret buying this!

What's great about it: Very affiordable, clean power

I bought this amplifier to power my Kicker DC122 setup with 2 12" Kicker Comps. This amplifier is a perfect match for this setup. It provides ample juice to the subs and has plenty in reserve. It will certainly drive your subs appropriately.
If you have a similar sub setup. Set the input sensitivity to 1v on the amp and the bass boost off. I set the crossover on my amp to 60Hz or 70Hz (You preference of boomy or tight and punchy). In your head unit set your headunit crossover to match the amplifier so that you will have a steeper slope at the crossover cutoff point. With those settings you will be very satisfied with this amplifier. I also recommend a 4 guage power setup with this amplifier and a 12 guage speaker wire. You can never go too big with your wires.

What's great about it: lights up and doesnt heat it
What's not so great: power source might go if defective
installed in a 06' Honda civic coupe ex. my only advice about this is too make sure the fuse for the power source of the amp is working. Best buy installed and that nite the amp went. other than that 1000 watts i cant complain

i have this amp connected to two 12 inch MTX subs, and the amp pushes them with no problem. i actually have to upgrade my subs to handle this amp...overall very good choice i have no problem with this amp

i got this amp powering 2 10' kickers and it sounds good but if you want them up loud it cuts out if you turn the amp up above halfway it cant handle it and itll shut off. it dont over heat but when they cut off i have to turn my deck off and turn it back on to get the amp back working. so if you want something loud this isent the amp for you

What's great about it: Good power for the money, doesn't get too hot.
What's not so great: No cooling fans
This is overall a decent amp for someone just getting into car audio. I've been working this amp for the last week and it hasn't gotten that hot, a little warm but not hot. However everywhere I looked said this amp had dual cooling fans, but it does NOT. I contacted Kenwood and they told me there were no fans on this model. Not really a deal breaker but it would have been nice to know beforehand.
I would recommend this to a friend!
