What's great about it: Great storage bin.
What's not so great: Little pricey. Should be included in the price of water/dryer.
Can store all my laundry detergents, fabric softeners, dusting and cleaning products, etc. Keeps them out of site. Lifts the washer and dryer to a more comfortable level for loading and unloading both appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Raises level of machine
What's not so great: Nothing
Raises the washer and dryer up to a more comfortable level for loading, transferring, and removing. The drawer is an added benefit, jugs of laundry soap fit fine (not the huge jugs), and the added space is great. The drawer is very smooth opening and closing. Kind of expensive, but worth every penny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered the LG Washer/Dryer Laundry Pedestals to go with my new W/D mainly because I am tall, and wanted them higher for easier access. They get the doors right at the perfect height for loading/unloading laundry. What I wasn't expecting was the amount of storage room they have. There is a lot of room in the drawers, and they open and close very smoothly. My only issue is the price, a little more than I wanted to spend, but I'm still happy to have them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the looks and it makes it a lot easier to do laundry. but it's a very expensive piece of tin with a drawer. I would still recomend it

What's not so great: Can't fit a large detergent bottle in the drawer
I bought a LG Washer/Dryer combo and it was pretty apparent that you almost need to buy these pedestals. While I wasn't necessarily looking forward to adding 2 expensive items to my already heavy purchase I think these look good and add decent storage in my already cramped laundry room. I am around 6' tall and my wife is slightly shorter. If we didn't buy these the washer and dryer are pretty low to the ground. The pedestal acutally raises the controls at just below eye level for me so it is nice to not have to hunch over to operate. The biggest draw back is that large degerent bottles don't fit in the drawer. We got around that by getting a smaller bottle to store detergent in but would be nice if it was 4" deeper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the LG front load washer and dryer but comtemplated for a long time if buying the pedestals were really necessary. Afterall they are very expensive when compared to the washer/dryer themselves. Most people would think that they would use them for storage of their detergents, but you should know that the liquid detergents don't fit! They are about 2 inches too high to fit standing upright. But we've found that the pedestals are better for storing dirty clothes, blankets, or other items that you might need in a hurry and within reach. So don't think that you need them for storaging only washing products! Afterall the capacity is huge and you could use it for many things, you just have to be creative. As for as the looks, it is worth every dollar paid because it makes the whole set of washer/dryer looks so good, and it makes putting and pulling the clothes in and out of them easy. This model matches the machines better than the pedestals with the handles that usually are displayed at the stores. I have no regrets spending money on them.
