This could be just me, Requires internet service. Even with internet service it does not work. Said I would see a photo show up on my screen, and one did not. Took card out of camera and inserted into USB card. Took 5 minutes to transfer 4 photo's to an unknown location. Then the only way I found to get photo's onto my PC was to send myself an email. This product will be returned soon.
This product has... Slow recording/download speed

Easy setup and works great. Best to set it up to upload later, not as you take the pictures. Just mark whatever your want to upload as protected. Soon as you mark protected, up it goes.

What's great about it: it works
Between my friend and I, we have purchased four of these cards.
She was visiting from Australia and wanted to be able to post photos to her Facebook page. She did not want to pay for international roaming on her iPhone.
We installed the eye-fi card, and it uploaded all the photos immediately to her iPad. She used my wireless and hotel wireless to upload to Facebook. This was a perfect solution. She bought two more cards for friends and relatives. I bought one and it worked fine in my small canon power shot. Hers was a small Nikon.

Depending on the amount to transfer, process can be a little slow. But is really cool to be able to set the camera down and pictures are already in the process of transfering. Cost is a little much, but I would buy another if I need one. Beware! make sure your camera is compatible!!!

What's great about it: good price, easy set up and storage
What's not so great: Be nice if Eye-Fi could have a simple picture program to fix photos if needed
I've been wanting to try this Wi-fi card and it went on sale at my favoriite toy store BestBuy. The card was easy to install and setup. What amazes me is the card while in the camera automaticly loads my new pictures into an Eye-Fi folder when my computer is turned on. Also they are sent to the Eye-Fi website where you can view them in a slideshow and pick which ones to email to your friends. You can also delete any pictures you are not satisfied with. I am very satisfied with the card and Thanks BestBuy.

What's great about it: It made my life a bit easier.
This device does what it says. It transfers my pictures to my computer and/or online sharing & storage service using my existing wireless network. From the time I opened the package until the first pictures were taken and sent to my computer, less than 5 minutes had passed. They really thought of everything when designing this card. Here's what I like about it:
(1). It can be configured for multiple networks: I travel between 3 wireless networks and the EyeFi card detects and uses each one.
(2). I have the choice of having pictures sent to my Computer and/or an online sharing & storage service.
(3). I don't have to train anyone how to copy pictures from the camera. All they need to know is to keep the camera and computer on for a few minutes after taking pictures. The card does the rest. I am however, manually verifying that the images are transferred before deleting them from the card, because its a new product. So far, so good. I've only tested it by taking a handful of pictures. It will be interesting to see how it transfers a week's vacation worth of pictures.
(4). I get an email with thumbnail images, when pictures are successfully transferred.
(5). The one I bought is bright orange, so it doesn't get mixed up with my drawer-full of SD cards.
(6). It worked with my older Canon S5iS Camera.
Honestly, I couldn't get this card to NOT work, once it was configured. I've purchased some costly equipment in my day, but I've had more fun with this $50 product than just about anything I've ever bought. Great job by the Eye-Fi Development Team!

Video Review:
User submitted video
What's great about it: capabilities beyond transferring images/video
What's not so great: The performance of the card will vary based on the equipment its used on or with
This is my 4th EyeFi card. I use them in all my cameras as well as my sons more rugged kid version of a camcorder.
The card comes with everything you need to get it connected to your network for seamless uploads. I have mine connected to our home network, so when I am in range and the camera is on the files transfer to my home desktop and an online backup is also created. When paired with the EyeFi app, you can view your uploads in realtime. It's fun to see my son take pictures with his camera and be able to see them on my tablet. phone, or computer. The uses are many.
NOTES:
I found that with cameras that take larger file sizes, uploads can take longer and are dependent on the speed of your networking equipment and connection. The camera usually has to be on for the transferring.
A must have for anyone looking to eliminate the step of downloading your images or videos from the card.

What's great about it: It can be returned
What's not so great: Download speed and easy of use
I tested this out on my Nikon D90 at the largest format I can, as that’s the format I usually shoot with. That comes out to about 5.9 MB. So far to load one photo its taken over 10 min. and the photo has yet to still load! My network is capable of handling the larger files as I use it to upload the same images to an online database and have no issues. The set up is confusing and the booklet that it comes with for the instructions is far to small and vague. I will be returning this tomorrow.
I understand how this might be helpful for a point and shoot but now days the capacities and formats of the point and shoots are going to surpass the capabilities of this product. I would recommend not buying this for the use on any professional level. My second tip is to organize your cords so it is easy to find them when it comes time to transfer the images. I will stick with my internal SD slot on my laptop and my cord for my desktop.
p.s. it has now been 15 min and still has not finished downloading/uploading one image.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to manually upload photos to my computer anymore. Now it does it automatically when within range of my home Wifi network.
I have not tried the direct link for use with iPad, but that would be handy to email high quality photos on the fly.

What's great about it: Can't think of anything.
What's not so great: Not all that convenient.
I bought the 8g version. There are several things wrong with it:
1. While the capacity is good, the write-to-memory time is extremely slow. In my Nikon D5100, it would take several seconds to write a single picture's data to the card's memory (high resolution).
2. Whenever I took pictures outside the range of the wifi network, and then returned in range, wifi transfer would not start unless I took at least one more picture of nothing while in range. Sometimes I'd have to take one more picture of nothing in order to get the transfer to start. Doesn't make sense.
3. When transfer did start, it was not very fast.
4. Neither of my computers' SD card slots would recognize the card. In order to copy the pictures from the card's memory to the computer directly, apparently you have to use the Eye-Fi USB adaptor.
I will be returning this product for a refund tomorrow.

I got this as a gift and was excited to use it. Installed it right away.
It seemed to work. However, went to grandson's graduation and wanted to put the pictures on my computer. However I did not have any pictures on the card even though they were there for awhile. Come to find out it is NOT compatible with all cameras. I was using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS5. However it is compatible with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 but have to shut off the power saver for the download. Info should be on packaging.

What a great product and easy to use. Set up on first try when following instructions. Easy to see on network to download to any computer in the house or on the network. Simply makes any camera that much more valuable. My wife thinks it is very neat to download pictures to her Mac from the camera that is elsewhere in the house. Also can download pictures while still taking pictures.
