The battery last twice as long as the original battery. Other batteries don't compare to a Sony.

What's great about it: Battery life
What's not so great: nothing
I needed another battery for my Sony HandyCam, to film a wedding for a friend. This battery lasted well beyond the time I needed it; through the wedding, the reception and viewing the footage that evening at home. I would recommend this to anyone needing a new or backup battery.

What's great about it: plenty of battery life
What's not so great: nothing
Needed more time to record on the comcoder and with this battery have all the time needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery was recommended by salesperson. Found it lasted well even in near freezing temperature, recharged quickly and installed easily.

What's great about it: With this battery -- you won't miss that 2 1/2 - 3 hour event like a wedding & sports. You will get it all.
What's not so great: Heavy, "V" Style -- Not "H" ---> will not work with older camcorders.
I have 60 gig & 120 gig Sony Camcorder. Only problem is although both camcorders are by Sony, both require a different battery.
For long special events, like school plays, weddings, sports, etc. this battery is the one to have, you'll be glad you did. Because that 1 hour battery that goes with the camera will not last---but this battery did.
I would recommend this to a friend!
