What's great about it: Insane Bass & Quality
What's not so great: Nothing
Got this sub powered by the Alpine V-Power MRP-M500. I was hesitant at first buying an Alpine sub. I've always owned an Alpine head unit and an Alpine amp. For the money, Alpine has the best technology & materials in their head units & amps, but I wasn't sure about their subs. I've always been faithful to JL Audio for my subs, but I'd done a bunch of research & heard nothing but great reviews on the Alpine Type R subs. So I went ahead & bought 1 10" sub, built a box specific to the suggested air space/ cubic feet. I was absolutely blown away. I've got the 8 ohm sub bridged down to push at 2 ohms, and Friggin' Wow!! These things rock, I've owned JL W6's, & W3's, and for just one 10" speaker with 500 watts pushing it, in a small sealed box, I can't believe my ears. This one 10" literally rattles my truck like crazy. If your even slightly considering the purchase, but skeptical like I was about an Alpine subwoofer, stop considering and wondering, and go buy em!!!!

What's great about it: hits hard, cheap
this sub is great for the price shakes the whole truck and only have 1000 wat amp on it and can handle more. with a ported box worth the price!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I only have one of these 10's in a 0.65 sealed Qlogic box. I am only putting about 350 rms into it and it shakes my entire truck. Using only one is no Comp setup but for what i listen to and when i want it to hit it does. I am upgrading my amp so that I will be pushing 500 rms at 2ohms so I Cant wait to hear that.
I would recommend this to a friend!
