What's great about it: compact,longcharges
What's not so great: all great
This battery recharges rapidly and holds a charge forever. That is one of the problems most batteries for digitals have,but this one is excellent and wallcharger folds flat and NO cords hanging around....love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: A real necessity.
Even though the original battery has a great life, when one is traveling and has no access to an electrical port, it's smart to have a spare battery rather than trying to conserve photo shots.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Takes lots of pictures
What's not so great: Price at Best Buy
This is a 2nd battery for my new camera. It works well, charges quickly (3 hours or less) and lets me take about 250 pictures. I used it on a boat taking pictures of whales and I had the camera one for 2 hours straight before I needed to change the battery. It costs a lot more at Best Buy then other places on line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Made by camera manufacturer and has longer life than advertised.
What's not so great: Not yet widely available, but I think that will change in the future.
I bought a Lumix camera at the last minute for a trip to Hawaii, assuming that I could just pick up a battery about anyplace. Fortunately I was smart enough to start looking for a battery a few days before we left.
I couldn't get it from the place I bought the camera, and it was unavailable from Panasonic. The Best Buy closest to me did not stock it, so I thought I was in trouble. (Not even enough time to have it sent FED-EX before we left for the airport.)
Then I went online to BestBuy.com and found one at a store just about 10 miles away. I ordered it online and picked it up with plenty of time to spare. On the trip, I alternated it with the battery that came with the camera and consistently got over 500 shots (12MP) with each charge of the battery --- with about 25% of the shots using flash.
I would recommend this to a friend!
