What's great about it: Its American made
What's not so great: everything else
Holmes cheaped out on this unit, slimming down the blades (what they call efficient design) actually allows breezes from outside to pass right through the fan even when on high.
an exhaust/window fan is useless if if can't offer any resistance whatsoever to a gentle breeze. I can sit next to it and my hair blows around from the 5mph wind coming in through the fan when its on high, blowing out the window, the motor doesn't even change pitch.
I expected more from Holmes.
Even if they don't last as long, the Lasko fans work much better in the window.

What's great about it: Lightweight, Easy to Carry, Great Price, 3 Speeds, Multi-Purpose
This fan works great for what I purchased it for. I suppose you could put it in a window to draw in cool air or exhaust hot air. I use it for whole-room circulation. As mentioned, it works great for its intended purpose! Highly recommended and a great price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: The price was right and they are just what I needed, they are quiet as well
What's not so great: Can't find anything wrong with them
The product arrived on time and just as ordered. I have no complaints about the product.
