What's great about it: Reliable
What's not so great: Pricey
We had serious problems with Keurig branded machines not priming, so replaced the last one with this machine, which we also use in an office environment with fairly high traffic. So far so good, no problems with priming or maintenance in either location.

What's great about it: Great coffee. Easy to use.
What's not so great: A bit too much spaceship style design, especially the bright blue lights.
So far, this is a great coffee maker. The variety of Kcups makes choosing your coffee each morning an enjoyable experience. Also, the variety of full-bodied decaf coffees means I can enjoy coffee in the evening. I use only filterred "spring" water so I hope to deminish or eliminate the scale problems others have reported. I'll try to remember to write an update in 6 months or a year to report about the machine's durability and the scale deposits.

What's great about it: So convenient, very little clean- up
What's not so great: Expensive up-front
Because if so, then my husband is definately enamored! Shortly after purchasing this machine, my hubby discovered how to make iced coffee, now I can hardly keep him in K-cups. The reuseable K-cup filter, which allows you to use your own coffee grounds, being included was what sealed the deal with the hubby. He was dubious about whether a machine that cost $200 up front and much more than regular coffee over time would be worth the convenience. He was more than pleased. This model is made of more metal parts than the comparable Keurig and durability means alot in our household. It has been used on a daily basis since we purchased it and has functioned without fail each time.

What's great about it: It is quiet and well built
What's not so great: I can't find anything not so great.
I have had 3 Keurig Coffee Brewers. Each one has been very noisy, they last around 6 months and then the water pump quits working. I have exchanged the old model so many times. I am thankful that I purchased an extended warranty.
The Cuisinart is built much better. I am waiting to see if the water pump quits working. In the meantime, I am ejoying brewing my coffee. The water tank is much larger, I don't have to refill every morning.

What's great about it: Quiet, available "on-demand" and doesn't waste coffee beans if you choose to use the container
What's not so great: Nothing yet
My family has owned this product for about 30 days. We have not experienced any of the issues as previously described. We do make a concerted effort NOT to remove the water tank so as to avoid the pressure lock on the pump.
This unit is very quiet compared to other models and well worth the money.

What's great about it: Everything so far
What's not so great: Nothing I've seen yet
OK first things first. I spent a LOT of time talking to friends and reading reviews about Keurig, Cuisinart and Tassimo machines. It was a love or hate thing with almost all. We have a Cuisinart Grind and Brew, but wanted something smaller since we were wasting coffee. I finally settled on the SS 700 based on reviews.
Next...I admit to being somewhat frugal on some things. Why pay full price when I can get a factory reconditioned unit with a warranty for a lot less? So we got a recon'd unit from Best Buy. It showed up with some problems right out of the box. Best Buy was GREAT...I returned it...on Cyber Monday...to a local store. In and out, no hassle in 5 minutes. Re-ordered one from the BB website (hey, they didn't mess up, it was a recon issue). The next unit showed up in 3 days.
After two months; I can say we are more than pleased. The unit function has been flawless. It has not had any problems unless we overfill the tank in which case we wipe off the counter. No hiccups, no issues.
One thing we do is to run a rinse to flush the line every day or so, simply because we make coffee, tea and occasionally hot chocolate for the grandkids. Other than a wipedown, that's been it.
While the unit comes with a pod for using your own coffee (easy and cheaper than K cups) we bought two Eko Brew pods and use them instead. They drop in like a Kcup, so you don't have to pull out the receptacle and insert the factory one. Well worth the investment and now I can have my Cafe Bustello or Community coffee anytime.
Bottom line. Great unit. Great service from Best Buy. Even better if you save the money and buy a reconditioned one if they have them available.

What's great about it: Largest storage water Tank, The most cup size choices
What's not so great: Nothing
I bought this Item October 2011. I have been using it daily 3 to 4 times a day, 6 to 8 cups total and have not experinced any problems. I did purchase the black tie protection plan for it due to Keurig coffe maker reviews about the pump going out on them. I do believe this Cuisine Art Coffee maker has the Largest water tank of all the consumer k-cup coffee makers. The internal workings are made by Keurig. My house is equiped with a whole house water filtration system and the sink has a reverse osmosis filtration add-on. This may be the reson I have not had to descale the product as of yet. I like the filter that comes with the unit for me to use my own coffee grounds but it does not work very well. The coffee made with it seems to taste very light. I did find out that you can put an empty K-cup inside this filter holder and put coffee in it, it makes a world of difference. Very glad I purchased this unit. I would strongly recomend this product with bottled water and not tap water, this way you won't have any problems.

What's great about it: coffee
What's not so great: defective, unreliable, breaks down quickly
I got this on a Monday, used it Tuesday through Sunday, one time each morning. On Monday morning, the water wouldn't pump out through the machine. It worked Monday night when I got home from work when I was fiddling with it, then it didn't work Wednesday morning. I returned this product. Very disappointing.

What's great about it: fast, easy and clean
What's not so great: cost of cartridges - = approx $.65 per cup of coffee
This unit is a little more money than others - We chose it for the Cusinart quality name. - So far so good after 6 months. Coffee is somwhere between a "true brewed" and instant coffee.

What's great about it: convenient, strainer is included
What's not so great: PRICE PRICE PRICE, temperture could be hotter
review created after 30 days and 100 cups of coffee. This is a great device always ready when I need it. external strainer is very convenient. I bought a large container of coffee filled the strainer and made a cup. Coffee was weak and nasty. I opened a used K-cup and found the the coffee to be finer than what I was using. Placed the new container of coffee beans into a blender. Made the coffee much finner (almost powder) . Success, the brewed coffee is full flavored and I make two 8 oz cups per strainer. Full flavor and bold not washed out. 1st time use setup, programming is a breeze and quickly done. excellent size water tank. the blue light inside the water tank is a nice touch.

What's great about it: Beats the Keurig machines

This was a replacement for a Keurig machine that started to die. It offers a lot more features, has a larger water resorvior and is a lot quieter (big plus). The auto on/off is a good feature.

What's great about it: good quality
What's not so great: may be too awesome. It's expensive
This thing is awesome. Removable water basin, the ability to use different cups, iced tea, and best of all it has a rinse button. Every bad review I've seen about the Keurig this thing has addressed. And the lid is even made of metal instead of cheap plastic. Sweet.

I had the Tassimo before I bought this. I like both but the Cuisinart Single-Serve Coffeemaker is my favorite. They have many more choices for coffe brands and flavors. Also more stores carry coffee for this machine and it is cheaper that the Tassimo cups.
