What's great about it: When it worked, good
What's not so great: Loud fan and doesn't work
I travel back and forth from NJ to SC every month for business. Bought this on recommendation of the tech at Best Buy. Used it on my trip up to NJ and it work for about 2 hours. Used it on my way back for about 1 hour and fan came on. VERY LOUD even with the AC on. I am on my way back to NJ and plugged it in. 15 minutes into using it the fan came on (never came on on the first use I might add). Next thing I realized is that the computer is no longer charging. Unplugged it, to let it cool down, replugged in and nothing. Guess it is shot. Guess it costs $10,00 an hour to use. Never would buy this product again and can't return it to Best Buy.
About me... Budget Conscious, Tech savvy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Provides steady stream of power
What's not so great: Fan may be distracting to some
I purchased 15 of these for my business colleagues in preparation of the upcoming hurricane season (to run laptop/cell chargers should we lose power after a storm). While they provide a steady stream of power, some have mentioned the internal cooling fan never shuts off. As for me, I won't be complaining if it works when needed.

I am giving mixed ratings for this product. The unit worked, but the fan is loud and very annoying. I thought something was wrong with it and returned it. Ultimately, I bought another more expensive unit (new unit exactly same style / function, etc. but higher price) and the new unit is completely silent. If you don't mind the noise, this one is ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to use
Yes, the fan is a little noisy - but this unit will not overheat like others I have used in the past. Perfect for charging my phone and laptop at the same time.
Was able to go on vacation, yet still maintain contact - without having to worry about where I was going to plugin.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product does a good job, but is a little loud as it has a fan that runs to keep it cool. It is fine if you are going to put it in a closed compartment in your car or something, but is a little loud to just plug into you cigarette lighter on your dash.
I would recommend this to a friend!

works just fine but is a bit noisy when the cooling fan comes on.

Got the job done. I needed household current from a Deep Cycle battery. That's what I got.

What's great about it: Size and portability
I bought this item for my daughter who has a special needs son that is on tube feeding. They really wanted to go camping but needed a way to run the baby's feeding tube pump. This item worked perfectly and allowed them to not only go camping, but to take him with them!!! Great product!

What's not so great: Must be another unit that doesn't have a whine.
Inverter works fine, but there is a very noticeable whine coming out of it. Perhaps it's the fan? If you are driving on the highway with your AC running, the noise gets drowned out, so it wasn't too bad when we used it, but you would definitely notice it if the car is stopped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Power Inverter works, but sometimes you have to hit it because the fan inside is hitting on something. I am going to return it for a higher priced inverter. However, if you don't use it all that much, it will do.

What's great about it: Could not use as jambed in power port in a 2001 Camry
What's not so great: Jambed in power port and then when removed pulled socket out of dash!
Jambed in power port and then when removed pulled socket out of dash! There is an adjustment for port size but it did not help jambing on socket. Will need to take dash apart to reinstall power port wiring.
