What's great about it: Size!!!!
What's not so great: Hubby's friends will be over more & expect game nights to be @ our house!
We just bought this T.V. yesterday and it is amazing! We already have the 65' but we had to upgrade to the 82' (which will hopefully be the biggest T.V. we get) It has great picture and the massive size makes it seem like you are really there!
I love this T.V. and since it's just me and my husband, I get the 65' to watch my chick flicks and he gets the 82' to watch sports and play NFL Madden!! All his friends watch to come over and watch all the sports games, especially Superbowl next Sunday! I have a feeling we will be seeing A LOT of his friends around here...which is the only downside of having this T.V!
Best Uses: Sports, Gaming, Movies

What's great about it: Slim and screen size
What's not so great: Not great for games to big as funny as that sounds
What can I say it is a great t.v. the 82 is slim for its size took up less room than my old 65 inch. Best inprovement was a anti glare screen no trouble with light at all great color even in the day. Down side to the t.v. if you play games on it "WII or Xbox 360" watch out it gives you motion sickness because of the screen size.
Best Uses: Casual User (mostly watch TV shows), Gaming, Movies

This is our family's 3 rd Mitsubishi TV, we had a 60" an 65" projection TVs. Great price for all the them, we love out 82" TV, so big and high quality picture, when we watch football games it's lke we are thre, The players are almost lifsize, to us it's better than attending a game. No traffic, no crowds, we make a buffett and we are in our own 50 yard line seats in a suite atsmosphere. We have 10 family members so this is the way to go for us!
We also bought the 3 year extended inhouse warranty just in case.

What's not so great: You need a big room...
My family and friends jaws drop when they see the massive size of this TV. Then the beautiful picture makes them take a seat and not want to leave my house. My wife was ready to kick me out when she saw the size of the box; however, it seems she has changed her mind because she invites everyone over to see it and loves watching movies on this TV. It has a crisp picture and dynamic colors even when on non HD channels. The TV is 3D ready and already has numerous positive reviews about watching 3D movies and playing 3D games. You do have to buy a converter and glasses, but with the low price of this TV compared to other 3D TV’s I think it is well worth it. If you are looking for a quality TV that will wow your friends, make you feel like you are at sporting events, and give your family a home movie theater experience, then this is the TV for you. I am really enjoying this TV and highly recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
