What's great about it: I like the powerful suction when using the tools to clean my steps and to vacuum out windows, the fridge, etc
What's not so great: bulky, alot of parts, but worth it

What's great about it: It is a great little vacuum that does it all.
What's not so great: Wish there was a light or buzzer to let you know the dirt bin needed to be emptied.
I like this vacuum, as it does what I need it to do. It is compact, goes everywhere (including steps) and does an excellent job of cleaning. It has the bare floor option as well as the carpet. The attachments are for the most part self storing. (just need one more spot and they could all self store). Wish there was some type of light to tell you to empty the bin, if someone else in the house uses it, they just notice it has poor suction and don't bother to empty the bin. I check that every time I use it. Other than that it is a great little workhorse!

What's not so great: Strange Tool design
This vacuum will annoy you because it picks up so much dirt you will be emptying the hopper more than you ever have before. This replaced some already significant vacuum cleaner (12 AMP upright) and picked up twice the dirt after using the upright just minutes before. AMAZING vacuum.

What's great about it: Price, HEPA,Get for Dog Hair, Great for Newborn, Wife Loves it
What's not so great: Container is small, Tool holder isn't the best
I purchased this vacuum cleaner for my wife, go figure. It had everything she wanted spec wise. The vacuum works great with all the different rugs in the house from low pile to high. The container is small so cleaning out 1400 sq ft house we have to empty it several times, but its well worth it knowing I don't have to purchase bags all the time. All the features work well. The tool design holder isn't the best but again its not bad enough to change my mind of the purchase. My wife is 7 months with our son and its filters which are 1 HEPA and two others are really great. You don't smell anything when your vacuuming and it is really quite. We also have two boxers and one husky and it cleans up the dog hair just fine, just takes a second longer to pull the hair out of the container since its not dirt it doesn't just fall out when you push the button.
I did get the 4 year warranty and would high recommend it with anything like this. Its cheap, 24 bucks its not a lot to spend on warranties these days.
I was going to buy a Meile German made but grad I got this instead.

I have heavy carpet, two cats, and a tight budget. So when I started looking for a new vacuum, I needed something powerful enough to lift ground-in cat hair that wouldn't break the bank.
Initially I had been looking at uprights, but I changed my mind when I saw how heavy and unwieldy they were. I'm glad I did - my canister is a svelte 16 pounds and has a total of three wheels (two on the base, one on the middle of the back) to glide along the carpet.
I've done two test runs of the entire apartment, and I have to say I'm in love. Since the machine has 12 amps of power (as much as some dyson models) I picked up tons of cat hair that I had no idea was there. The canister rolled along easily, the tools worked well - just an overall worry-free experience.
I did purchase a 2-year maintenance plan, though, due to the amount of plastic parts, and would recommend others do so as well. I'll update this review in a few months time to let you know how it is holding up!

This vacuum was great at first.... Worked great, and didn't have much problem with it.... Then all of a sudden it was losing suction, the cord wouldn't pull all the way out, and no matter what I did to clean it, replaced the filter, didn't use it as much it truly started to suck and not in the right way!!!! Do not get this.....

What's not so great: Attachments very basic.
This vacuum has great suction with low noise level. I needed a vacuum to reach under beds and for the stairs. The telescopic wand reaches and bends flat enough to go under beds. Though, it still was awkward to use for the stairs and the small attachment is simple and does not have powered brush. Still, I do like it and happy with the purchase.

Wanted a canister for approx. 4000 sq ft of mostly hard floor w some carpet & rugs plus above floor cleaning. (Already own uprights for heavy duty carpet cleaning.) After MUCH research, purchased on-line as canister vacs are not carried in most stores....including Best Buy which was the BEST PRICE I found. This vac has all of my desired features: 12AMP min., 20 ft cord preferably auto rewind, on board tools, metal telescoping wand, & bagless. Also liked the large wheels for easy mobility, 3 filters & handles.
Vac was delivered in a timely fashion. However, was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT: #1 TOOL ADAPTER was BROKEN. This is the part which one uses to attach EVERY tool to the hose. (It would get a lot of use...& already had almost one inch "chip" plus cracks on one end.) #2 The "metal" WAND length adjustment was difficult, questionable quality--but moreover, #3 the TOOL CADDY was on the lower end of the wand. #4 It was not possible to remove it. #5 This made cleaning under furniture basically impossible, not to mention added weight when using the wand for high reach above floor cleaning. Cleaning under furniture is one of the primary reasons I wanted a canister for! #6 The wand was also not quite long enough for comfortable use...& I'm not tall. The DIRT CUP & FILTER inside was fairly easy to empty & clean. SUCTION was good. The suction adjustment was a slider knob on top of the vac proper. It did have the MOTORIZED CARPET cleaning TOOL which I probably would have never used, as I have the uprights. The CORD REWIND did work well; just push a button on the top of the vac to retract the cord.
I decided this vac had too many negatives in the most important areas to keep it. So have returned it. VERY PLEASED w local BEST BUY's customer service.
I have purchased cheaper vac which doesn't have all the features I was looking for, but, it HAS the MOST IMPORTANT ones: 12 AMPs, 27 ft cord, long metal telescoping wand, long hose, on board tools, lg wheels, suction adjustment control & cleans hard surface as well as carpet...without changing tools! It has GREAT suction & maneuvers easily into small places, under furniture & around things. The filter is washable. Probably the only negative: It uses a bag. (I'm happy w it.) And, it's made in the good ol' USA!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: The carpet roller attachment, and it reaches under the furniture.
What's not so great: The cord could be longer.
This cannister vacuum is great because it has lots of attachments, and the suction is good. You can clean carpet and floors without changing anything and it reaches under the furniture. The carpet roller attachment works well.

It was a reasonable price for this bagless canister vac. More so than all other sites. The product is efficient with excellent attachments unlike a similar product from Sears that I returned. The suction is good and I am satisfied. If it stayed at max suction a little longer it would be perfect but I am pleased overall, especially at this price with such good features and equipment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: cleans well even in crowded spaces
What's not so great: swivel feature on power head
Surprising how much stuff this vacuum picks up - and it works well in small, crowded spaces where an upright is difficult to manage. It picks up well on carpets and on regular floors - going back and forth between the two types of floors is easy - just turn the bursh roller on and off using the control on the handle - and it makes no noise when you are vacuuming the regular/lineoleum floors. One issue: The swivel feature when using the power floor head was weird - the floor piece seemed to turn to the side when you pushed it forward. But there is nothing that a woman with a roll of duct tape cannot correct - I taped it up so it cannot swivel and now it works great!
Pros: cleans extremely well, goes easily from carpet to lineoleum, very quiet with brush turned off
Cons: swivel is weird - fixed that with some tape

What's great about it: suction, lightweight
What's not so great: short cord, tool caddy in a bad place
I like this vacuum. The suction is great and removes more dirt than I thought I had. Very light weight and easy to assemble and use. A few things I would like to see changed...1)needs a longer cord 2) the tools caddy is in a bad place and I can't figure out how to remove it 4) it doesn't easily roll back as you are moving out of a room. Wondering how much I'll spend in filter refills. There are two that will need to be purchased.

Not a good vacuum! I have had this vacuum for a few weeks now and the suction power is not good at all. I have hard wood floors and slate in my kitchen, and this vacuum doesn't do the job. I have to go over a section over and over in order to get my floor clean. I really want to return this and get another vacuum that actually has suction.

What's great about it: Suction and versatility
What's not so great: One of the attachments has difficulty staying on
When I originally purchased this, I was a bit leary about buying such a cheap vacuum. I had not had good luck with previous Eureka or Hoover canister models. This vacuum gets as good of suction as my mother's Miele, and the best part is I didn't have to pay the $500 she did.

I have purchased this vacuum today and used it once.
Pros:
1.Very quiet.
2. When used with the carpet attachment - the vacuum advances by itself which makes it very easy to use.
3. Suction level is adjustable.
4. Vacuum is efficient - picked up a lot of dirt off the carpet.
Cons:
1. The accessories are supposed to go on an attachment that is located on the hose, I found it inconvenient since its location will prevent you from reaching deep enough under the bed or furniture.
2. When trying to dispose of the dirt, you find that most of it is stuck/compressed inside the container, so you actually have to reach and pull it with your fingers - it took 5 attempt for me to pull all of it out - while holding my breath so I don’t have to breath all this fine dust and whatever is inside.
