What's great about it: Absolutely nothing
What's not so great: Battery life
I have owned my shuffle for a mere five months, and the battery won't last more than a couple hours. I returned it to the Apple store twice for "NEW" replacements, and the first had the same problems, and the second, it came with USED gb. New? I think not. No more Apple's for me!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Slips off of some tech shirts
Great product bought it for my husband for his first ultra marathon. It lasted the entire time no problems loved it on shuffle mode real easy to skip to the next song without having to look at the product. Great for people that want a simple and easy to use ipod.

Great for those with good eye sight.

What's great about it: Light weight for exercise
What's not so great: Difficult to see buttons/arrows.
Love this products. However, the convenience of having smaller technology makes it difficult to see the buttons (arrows). A bolder marking would be helpful, such as; black arrows on a blue device.

What's great about it: Sturdy, Lightweight, Cheap, Solid State Drive, No Screen, Enough memory for good exercise playlist
I bought this iPod because I wasn't crazy about using my iPhone and iPod touch while mountain biking. This one is cheap enough that even if I loose it on dirt or in a creek and it breaks, I'm not freaking out that my iPod touch or iPhone is broken. This one is cheap enough that if it actually breaks, I can replace it for very little.
Aside from the pricing factor, there is no screen to break on this iPod which in my mind makes this perfect for working out and those more extreme sports. Since it's encased mainly in aluminum and features solid state memory, I feel confident that even if I do fall while wearing this that it'll probably still work when I pick myself back up. Pair this with a set of yurbuds and you're ready to go!

What's great about it: Download and go, great price
I never had an MP3 player before, so could never understand what all the hub-bub was about. Well, now I have one and I understand. Right from the box, downloads were easy and the sound quality is great. Clips easily to whatever you're wearing so taking that walk to keep fit is easy. Great for a beginner. I'm really glad I chose to make this purchase.

I bought this iPod shuffle for my eight year old daughter because she wanted to listen to music, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money, or buy a product that allowed her to have unlimited access to the internet. The shuffle was the perfect solution. The sound quality is great, the price can't be beat, and now she can listen to her favorite Taylor Swift songs whenever she wants, without torturing the rest of the family. If it came with the wall outlet charger included, it would be perfection, but the USB charger works fine for our current needs.

What's great about it: Easy for technically challenged husband to use
What's not so great: Can't get replacement ear buds
This worked great to keep my husband's mind occupied while I went through surgery, but our cat ate through the cord of one of the earbuds and I can't find replacement ear buds that aren't crowded with bells and whistles that I don't want or need. Definite product flaw!

This thing is small and light, perfect for running. User interface s simple and eas to "feel" without seeing the buttons. I clipped this to my short pocket and it didn't bounce off.

What's great about it: The size, the sound quality and the large amout of music it holds
What's not so great: It's so small that I sometimes lose it in my purse if the headphones aren't attached.
Who would expect such wonderful sound out of a little device not much bigger than a postage stamp? It holds most of my music library. The battery life is quite good and the sound quality is great! All of this is doubly amazing as the price tag was under $50.00. What's not to love?

What's not so great: you can only adjust the volume with apple headphones.
I bought this ipod for my son for his 6th birthday. He absolutely loved it! I was even more thrilled to learn I could adjust the volume on his ipod so he's not destroying his ear drum. The only problem is you can only adjust the volume using apple headphones, regular headphones you can't use volume control. Very easy to clip on anything, great shade of blue, and just all around easy to use. We all have apple products and can't think of any complaints. A must buy!
