What's great about it: bass, full/rich sound, cancels out background noise

I'm not an audiophile. Just a consumer who wants fair value for my money. Before the Klipsch's, I bought a PowerBeats by Dr. Dre set and I was pretty disappointed. For $160, I expected to be blown away. At the very least, I wanted to feel like after spending that kind of money, I would be able to say "Now I get it" since I was upgrading from my factory iPhone headset. I took the PowerBeats back within 24 hours.
After reading some reviews of these Klipsch's, I bought a set for $99. Major difference in my opinion. The bass sounds deeper and the music just sounds "fuller" if that makes sense. I've tried changing out the different earbuds and that also affects the "fullness" so make sure you try them all out. Maybe the biggest key though is pushing the buds all the way in (and maybe even turning them a bit) creates a tight seal and blocks out virtually all background noise (and creates a deeper bass).
NOW I get it.
Best Uses: When I travel, Gym / Working Out

What's great about it: Pretty good sound, good comfort, controls for switch music work ok
What's not so great: Microphone is to far from mouth to be used hardly at all, people cannot hear me well even when i hold up to mouth
This is a good lower end iPhone/smart phone headset. But it is not the best. Honestly for me it is not worth saving the $50 compared to the bose. Compared to the Bose version of this the only thing it has going for it is that it is sound canceling. I have read some reviews saying it isn't durable but I have had the opposite effect they seem to go through most anything and be exactly the same after.

What's great about it: Very good sound quality
What's not so great: A bit pricey
For reference, I own three Bowers and Wilkins prods, 703's, CM1's and the P5 headphones. I bought these Klipsh's as I listen to music and movies at night in bed, so I need buds to lay my nog down without discomfort. They do come with a few different cushions and thats very helpful as I do not use the standard cush's. As well, they seem to be well built and the cord doesn't tangle very easily, which is cool.
The sound quality is very good with very capable low end response. I use an iPod and an iPad to listen to these and I also use a Fiio headphone amp with a direct 10 pin connect as opposed to the 3.5 headphone output.
Most all my music is ripped in Apple lossless, so this tells you I am an audio junkie when it comes to quality sound and I expect a very pristine listening environment BUT sometimes these headphones just can't handle the highs quit so capably as the low end. I doubt very seriously its has anything to do with the components or file quality I am using. This is why I am giving the overall rating a 4. I feel that for the money I shouldn't hear the top end falter. I would expect this out of another brand of lesser expense. Not these.
Overall, its an above average set of buds. Worth buying, and if your not an audio junkie like me, they may be even better.

I first bought the version of this headset without the mic as a replacement for a sound cancelling headset. I found the sound "isolating" design to work just fine for inflight wear and the sound quality is amazing. I liked them so much, that when my corded headset that I occasionally use in my car broke, I replaced them with this set. They have great range and the base is deep for a earbud set.

This is my first pair of high end earbuds. The most I have spent previously is $50 on some Skulcandy earbuds. I am constantly listening to music and sometimes have my buds in for hours. The oval shaped tips make for better sound and a more comfortable fit cancelling out outside noise. I can hear parts of the music I have never heard before with these buds. The bass is strong but not overpowering. I can hear a wider range with the mids and highs. Overall it is a well balanced mix. The controls for the iPhone work great and the size makes them easy to use without looking. Greatly satisfied!

I finally decided to stop buying $20 sets that last 6 months and have poor sound. The Klipsch phones were a little less than $100. Very clear sound, great bass. My only complaint is they tend to wiggle loose over time. They aren't noise cancelling per se, but they do provide some quieting of airplane and crowd noise. I have also used them with my Samsung Android phone, they are great for both purposes.

I am a Klipsch fan and read all the reviews so decided to spend the money to buy these ear buds to work with my iPhone. The fit is good with the different size ear pieces to select from. The controls are easy to find and use while looking elsewhere. The hard part for me is that I was expecting a little more sound quality overall to distinguish them from the Sony version that was almost half the price of these.
If you are going to sit quietly and listen to classical music and want to experience the complete range of the music, then these are great. If you are on the road and listening to rock. You may want to save the money and go with the Sony.

I have had these for about a month and have never been disappointed. These have great base, depth and clarity. I think the shape of the tip and the angle of the ear piece is significant to the quality of sound. When placing them in my ear I turn them so the wire is pointed up then insert and rotate until the wire is horizontal, then boom great sound. If you are looking for great sound and value foe the money buy these and you won't be disappointed.

I've had several pairs of ear buds in the past few years and none have been as good as these. The sound quality is stellar and they actually stay in and sound just as good while I'm working out, which is not something I can say for many of the ear buds I've used previously. The way you get them to stay in for working out is a bit strange at first but it works well.

When I left the store I plugged them into my iPhone in the parking lot & almost took them right back in. I convinced myself to be a little more patient. I later tried a couple different tips & got a great fit, huge difference but certain music still sounded flat. iPhone & iPod audio apparently cannot put enough juice into these to produce much bass. I plugged them into my MacBook Pro & listened to the same files & sounded great. Audio is spectacular with most genres, great highs & mids, bass was good from the computer but almost nonexistent through pirtable devices. They are extremely comfortable and after a few seconds you forget they're in & after a couple hours there was no fatigue at all. Noise isolation was great after proper tip fitting. I know Klipsch are made well but they feel really light & kinda cheap. The lightweight plastic was really noticeable when a breeze kicked up & they really transferred the wind noise bad. If Klipsch were to produce a metal case like Monster iBeats (great bass & sound, solid bud but cables & connectors are very poor build quality) & Turbine series I think they would be perfect, it would really help with bass push & cut wind & vibration noise.

I've really enjoyed these earphones. I've been using them when riding my motorcycle. I enjoy it that you can change the songs and volume without fumbling in my jacket for my phone. I've only had them for a month so I can't really comment on durability. These are the best earbuds I've ever used.

The store clerk told me he never heard of ultimate ears I said shame shame. well they don't sell them in this store.
I asked him around the price range from my previous pair what he recommended.. He said Beats I said no way jose.

I did pay less for this product than the ultimate ears and I have to say Im surprised. the sound quality is A+ but they do suppress the sound a bit when it comes to high volume listening but then again who would like to blast off with earbuds anyway.
Overall build quality is exceptional

Would I buy this product again if I had to yes but I got the two year replacement for only 14.00 bucks. This means if anything happens to them they will swap them out no questions asked.
Overall good purchase you can't go wrong with this set..
although you can't try them out in the store I can tell you from my perspective its blissful to listen to them.

I have had several headsets for my Apple Products, including Apple's closest match to this one. By far, this headset works best of them all. I use it primarily on an iPhone 4S, though also on an iPad. Great sound without distortion -- the only headset I've had that I could actually hear certain parts of music. Phone tie-in controls work well. Earbuds stay in my ears, which is rare. All in all, I'm very happy with this. I may buy a 2nd set for the bedroom. These are mostly outdoor and exercise.

What's great about it: You can actually listen to the whole song, not just part of it. Good tone. Great look. It's not bulky like some others.
What's not so great: The cord is slightly thin for my taste, but it does not feel cheap and i doubt it will ever fail.
I'm 19 years old and i play drums. For drummers, one of the most important things is being able to hear what you're playing along too. I've always had problems with this since i first started. i remember using regular ipod headphones and a big 530 watt stereo just to be able to hear what i wanted to play, quite harsh on the ears. NOT ANYMORE! i can literally keep my volume halway down. I read a review where someone said these earbuds aren't very good at isolating sound, maybe your ear canals are shaped square? i don't know, because these things are like industrial grade ear plugs for me. They are very comfortable, i practiced 6 hours straight with them, went on a 10 hour car ride in the back seat, and use them everyday. After the first 5 minutes you forget they're in your ear. It's like being engulfed in a whole new world. The earbuds are so vibrant. the bass isn't like a cracking cluster of distortion, found in other earbuds, it's very clear, almost like a warm vibration or hum. Every musical note is enhanced. I was listening to Shinedown-SImple Man the other day, and jeez, i can't tell you how much of that song i never HEARD. I've really been missing out. It's so easy to identify musical instruments. You can hear exactly what cymbals are being played and what drum is being hit, which is a very important thing when figuring out complex songs. It's like being front and center at a stage. I honestly have no clue why anyone would dislike these earbuds, except maybe your eq setting on your music source is thrown off, which will make any headphones sound like junk. If you're tired of playing games and are looking for some high quality earbuds for around $100. GET THESE!
