What's great about it: Look,Feel, and great price
You can use the regular controller to play NES virtual games, but you will need this controller for SNES and N64 virtual games and also NES if you choose...

What's great about it: Old school gaming feel
What's not so great: price
I purchased it primarily to be able to play virtual games (old games) which I download on my wii. I thought I could use gamecube controllers but the wii I bought is the special Edition black wii which sits horizontally and for some reason it does not have the connections for gamecube controllers like the original and common wii (white) does.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Short cord (but it plugs right into the Wii remote)
I made the mistake of buying a similar control on Ebay from Hong Kong for around five bucks. it looked exactly like this control, but I was fooled. I went through two of those controllers in 3 months because I like to play NBA 2k11 almost everyday.
Once I bought this controller and began to play, I could tell the difference in quality. The buttons were more crisp, the plastic felt thicker; it was just a lot better quality. I bought two of these controllers, and I haven't even taken the second one out of the box. (It's been about 3 months since I bought them.) In addition, the control I'm using is showing no signs of slowing down! Buttons are still as crisp as when I bought it. I GUESS THE SAYING IS TRUE, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!'

What's great about it: No hand cramps, Design, Comfort.
What's not so great: It's still worth your buy, but maybe it should be a little bit more durable, and it does not work with all games.
This controller might not work for most games, and if you're a classic Nintendo gamer you might not like it as much. But if your games are compatible with this controller you will deeply enjoy it. It has a good design with the cord on top, and it resembles a play-station controller.
It doesn't feel amazingly durable but it will not break if you drop it on the floor. The comfort is amazing (Great 4 FPS games because your hands wont cramp) Overall if its compatible with your games you will enjoy it.

What's great about it: price, comfort while playing
What's not so great: cheap plastic => doesn't feel too durable
Overall, the controller is well suited for Wii Virtual Console games (especially SNES and N64) and for Monster Hunter Tri (as the sticker indicates on the box that the controller is packaged in).
It's made of cheap plastic...but you get what you pay for. This controller is very similar to the PlayStation's DualShock controller. Because of its color, it does a good job to make sure that you can see the fingerprints... It definitely feels more comfortable playing older NES games compared to when holding the Wiimote sideways.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Cord now comes out the top, "handlebars" are nice, solid construction.
What's not so great: They removed the analog shoulder buttons!
It seems that Nintendo took several steps forward refining their design for the Classic Controller for the Wii. First, they addressed a very common complaint, and moved the location the cord comes out from the bottom to the top. Second, they added "handlebars" to make the controller ergonomically more like PlayStation, Xbox, GameCube, N64, and other 3D consoles. To be fair, the old design was very comfortable. It was just closer to a SNES controller than a PS2.
The down side is that they changed the way the shoulder buttons work. On the original classic controller, the L and R buttons were analog triggers. This gave you a versatility to assign them to things where variation is desirable. For instance, throttle and brakes in a driving game, or rudder control in a flying game. The new "pro" version lacks this feature. very disappointing.
Overall, this one step back is minor for 99% of games out there. Most games don't even support this feature. The solid construction, and comfort, and quality of this controller should make it a welcome addition to any serious gamer's collection.
