i felt like i was playing the first one 2 was better ,just buy the second one

What's great about it: Limited Edition comes with a lot of cool stuff, Graphics
What's not so great: Campaign, Multiplayer
As a hardcore Gears Of War fan I couldn't wait for GOW3 but after playing through a predictable & anti climatic story mode I was hoping it could be saved by the multiplayer but unfortunately it wasn't, It's just like COD multiplayer now, camping with super weapons. I haven't played it in months & probably never will
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really enjoyed Gears of War 3 and the Gears of Wars series. This game is a wonderful end, accept for junping around. The Harcore setting could be more challenging, but there is always Insane.

Gears of War 3 has 4 player co-op campaign, 5 player co-op horde and beast modes, and 10 player 5v5 multiplayer modes. Excellent story line!!

Enjoyed the game, but with so many games today, it seemed a bit short.
Developers rely heavily on the online multiplayer market now days. As a result the single player, or multiplayer story mode suffers.
It's sad they do that, but until consumers demand more in depth and longer campaigns in the games, this will continue to worsen.

Got a great deal on this game from Best Buy, and they shipped it very quickly.
I haven't finished the single player campaign yet because I am totally hooked on the multiplayer, specifically the Horde mode. I usually shy away from online multiplayer because it's a bunch of screaming kids that are better than myself (as an adult who doesn't have time to play videogames all day long!). But Horde mode is different, you have to work together as a team to survive. No shooting your teammates in the back. I have found it refreshing. Best with friends, but even with random people online it's not that bad.

Good continuation from the last Gears game. As always with Gears, the multiplayer is a lot more fun than the storyline, but the storyline is fun to play through a few times.

I own the other games of the series and as it happens with COD when you buy this games you know what you are up to. Don't expect a complete new game. If you buy them is because you love them. THis game as the previous one has lots of fun and it gets you inmerse for hours. Really cool game

What's great about it: Over-the-top fun
What's not so great: Huge learning curve
The game is fun and the option of being able to turn off the mature content is great. The multiplayer has a huge learning curve, though, compared to other popular shooters. Customizable character, weapon skins, and playercard definitely improve the multiplayer experience. Horde mode is tons of fun, but it'll get boring quick if you don't have other people to play with. Beast mode is also very fun, but you'll want people to play that with too, otherwise you'll die a lot. The storyline won't be very enjoyable unless you've had past experiences with the Gears of War story, but they do somewhat make up for that with a summary video you can watch before starting the story. Overall a great game, but Gears of War is starting to feel a tad bit dated.

I'm not one of those that get all involved in the storyline or what happened in the previous Gears of War. I like shooter games and that's exactly why I purchased this game and that is exactly what it is, a great shooter game.

Undoubtedly the best game I've ever played. After a steep learning curve the multiplayer will keep you playing for years,,, my only dissappointment was that I didnt get the mechanic baird character.... Still an awesome game, I bought two of them and would buy them again.... Thanks Epic!

Gears of War 3 is the best game of the three games series. The story line, graphics, and sounds are truly amazing. The controller are well-tuned with the character's movement. The development team did an excellent job of immerse you into the environment. I really enjoyed the game.
