What's great about it: heartrate monitor, ease of setting up to get started
What's not so great: price is expensive
Great product, love all the features the forerunner offers.

What's great about it: Readout, heart monitor, GPS w/Garmin connect
What's not so great: You wouldnt replace your standard wrist watch with this device.
First time GPS watch owner. This watch has a larger footprint but you never notice it when you're running. Big display is nice. I have the model with the heart monitor which also works great. The GPS and Garmin Connect features are nice. Gives you an nice satellite picture of your running path with all the details (pace, heart rate etc.) Now I know exactly how far and how fast I'm running. Great for training. Havent gone swimming with it yet but I guess its good for that and bike riding. Most of the reviews I read on these type devices, had this model at the top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It doesn't tell the time of day

What's not so great: What time is it?
Garmin makes good GPS units, but this watch is not a good device. While it picked up the satellites from my basement, it has no settings to tell you what time is it.
The device is going back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
