What's great about it: PRICE, sound, looks
What's not so great: handling during shipping
ive been in the audio game for a while, you can take this review seriously as i have nothing to gain.
as mentioned before with other reviews, do a practice run putting it together. you'll see how it goes together. the glue provided, to me, seems like basic elmers, i suggest picking up some good wood glue, don't go too heavy on it as it will leak out, or a calking gun is what i used. i also suggest not removing the white dots as they indicate where the screws are supposed to go, since carpet is over the precut holes, i suggest using a blade or utility knife and cutting an X into each hole. this will keep the carpet from snagging when your putting the screws in. i also picked up a few extra screws and i measured and put more in just to make it more durable. i also calked all the angles inside the box after built. the round head screwes are for the speakers, which also had holes. so just inspect everything when you open it. one of my corners was damaged in shipping, no biggie i just glued it and i used extra screws. i also replaced the wire provided with higher gauge wire. and the black line on the back where you would see the bare wood was slightly off, i just taped it off wider and shot some flat black at it. i recommend using a hand screw driver over something powered so you don't crack the wood during construction.
im running two lanzar dvc subs to a 1100 watt memphis amp, it hits harder than my old sealed box for sure. i think a board down the middle to seperate the chambers would have been a better design but for the price? no complaints about that. i used glue everywhere, strong is what i was wanting. i also picked up some metal 4 bar grill covers for each sub, they fit good and look nice on the box.
i priced all the supplies it would take to build a box like this from my local hardware store. it was around $100, plus the time, so this box is a great deal.

What's great about it: The sound is so much better than a sealed box.
What's not so great: Just having to put screws on the top of the box, but that does not bother me.
I was really easy to assemble. Just do it first without the glue to make sure you can do it correctly when you do put the glue down. Sounds 10 times better than my sealed box. So so much better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Price, bass gain(efficiency), looks, very sturdy.
What's not so great: Screws work, but are a bit small. Maybe size of box.
Well i got this box on clearance one day when i walked in randomly to best buy. It was 35 including tax. To start, I have two American pro subs. 250 rms and 500 max each. I used to have them in a sealed box that said db gain, and it was slanted from the back. When I had them in the sealed box, i had to put +5 on the sub control from the pioneer head unit to get it to sound how i wanted. now, its on +0, which means less stress on the amp, and even like that, i feel at least a 10% gain over the old box most of the time. Overall, it greatly maximizes the performance of your subs, although there are some (very, very, very few) that bump just a little bit more with the sealed box. The reason i put 4 instead of 5 on sound quality is specifically for this reason. The sound quality though, just as clean as with the sealed box though. One more downside, if you would consider it that, would be that it is pretty big, significantly bigger than the sealed box i used to have. Other than that, excellent box for 35 dollars, even though its probably a 1 time price. I greatly recommend it.

What's great about it: Very strong and durable
What's not so great: dimensions online are wrong
the box is very great quality and holds strong, i had 2 12inch kicker compVR subs in it and sat on it and im 6'3'' 230pounds and it could hold me!! only down fall is in your description the dimensions are wrong......... it should read 14.5" Height x 31.8" Wide x 17.25" depth

this is a great box i bought it from the store and not online, there was only one thing wrong with it that i had seen. its not the box its self its the ppl that put it together they didnt caulk the inside at all so it leaks i had to do that my self and they screwed the screws where they show its not covered up with the carpet....but over all the box is great just put it together ur self

What's great about it: SQ and SPL out put are phenomonal.
What's not so great: after you screw holes in it the box wears down
I bough this box which held my two 12 inch Kicker CVX 2010 models. and wow you have to by this box if your serious about your cars sound. it greatly improves the sound quality and SPL of my subs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
