What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: drained battery, not reliable, scratches easily
I bought this recorder to record my lectures for class. 2 1/2 weeks later it stop working. I could record or listen back to my recorded lectures. It was very fustrating because I was relying on these recording to study for my exams.... I was very upset. Had to get the recording from another student. I returned it and got a full refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
