Nice to have since the PS3 needs to be on to charge a controller. Works excellent, light lets you know when the controller is fully charged. Charges two controllers at once.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: The charge, look, and feel of it.
What's not so great: A little pricey but worth every penny!
This charger is great. The charge really lasts for hours. Me and my cousin played Black Ops all night for about 9 hours straight and never had to recharge or plug in my controllers. The look and style of the charger is awesome.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Simple, Solid Product, Does what it is supposed to
What's not so great: No complaints so far
I decided to write this review seeing as there currently are none, and I figure that is due to the fact this product is fairly new. I tried to find reviews before purchasing but no luck, so I hope this helps.
The product is very solid, and built with a nice sturdiness, solid plastic structure with a matte finish, so no glossy fingerprint issues. I felt quite safe purchasing since it is an officially licensed by Sony product. It is perfect for securing loose controllers along with very efficient charging times. The product also automatically cuts off charging to already fully-charged controllers, which is nice for conserving electricity and preserving the product's longevity. Great buy.
Also a sidenote: product comes with 2 very sleek and slim adapters that conveniently plug in to controller usb ports and stay out of the way of play very nicely. Very nice feature that will prevent any cheaply placed usb hookups on any other 3rd party PS3 controller charge setup. Just place the controller on the base and let the charger slide them in to place for fast and easy charging!
I recommend this product to anyone: easily the best alternative way to charging controllers besides a usb cable, especially as it runs on a standard wall plugin.
I would recommend this to a friend!
