What's great about it: Interface with receiver.
What's not so great: Nothing
Bought this along with my Yamaha RX-V667BL receiver and it works great. Easy to set up and it interfaces with the receiver so you can control the IPod through the receiver. You either view the controls on the receiver front panel (kind of small to see from a distance) or on your TV screen, which is what I recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dock is fine. Everything else sounds great on my system. Ipod sounds terrible. Not docks fault, but not worth the trouble and effort to get it all hooked to a good tuner
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
