What's great about it: Good value for the stated range
What's not so great: Didn't work
One radio just did not work from the get-go. After the initial full charge, one radio worked great, but we could barely hear anything from the other radio. Assuming that perhaps, that radio didn't get a full charge for some reason, we left it in the charger overnight. But the issue was still the same the next day. We also swapped out the rechargeable battery with the normal alkaline batteries (4 AAAs), but we were getting the same issue. We ended up returning it back to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought to sets of these to use at our salvage yard. The volume on this is very low, even when adjusted to the highest level. If you begin to get more than a couple hundred yards apart, they create a lot of static.

I use the radios at work. They work great in all kinds of weather conditions. Batteries last a while and charge very fast. Great product!
I would recommend this to a friend!
