What's not so great: stuff manufacturer loads on it

What's great about it: Easy to set up. Looks nice!
What's not so great: Nothing!
I bought this with a Netgear N Router for a desktop that doesn't have a built-in wireless connection. Even thought router in on the first floor at the other end of our house and the laptop is on the second floor, I've haven't had one connection issue.
A Geek Squad member recommended this with the router and I'm very happy with the product.

What's great about it: once you get on it is fast
What's not so great: drops every time you walk away from the machine, if you are not on it constantly you have to reconnect everytime

What's great about it: quick installation
What's not so great: I wish the included software didn't have so much bloat
I needed to quickly add an old system to a network where I didn't have wiring for network between floors. I also didn't want to have to figure out what card type I needed and didn't really want to open the case. USB to the rescue!
Install as straight-forward. I only installed the included software because I didn't want to take the time figuring out Windows 7 networking bunk. The wizard is spot-on.
I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to quickly add a system to their wireless network,

What's great about it: It worked out of the box
What's not so great: Doesn't pull an excellent signal, but does ok.
Bought this for my dad, so he could get the internet in a back bedroom. It's pulling a signal through 4 walls, which is pretty good. The signal's not great, but solid enough for him to read some articles online and e-mail. If you have a Netgear router, setup's a breeze!

Have had no issues with this wireless adapter! Thought about a wireless card for my desktop, but extremely happy with my choice to go with a USB wireless. Haven't had a connection problem since I purchased it, overall very satisfied!

What's great about it: easy install
What's not so great: kinda pricey/death by torrent
i recently moved into a friend's house and my setup is in the basement. i bought this as a temporary solution until i was finally able to run some ethernet cable. the product is kind of overpriced when you can get usb wifi n adapters online for under $20. this is best buy's Achille's heal, same with their $30+ hdmi cables. they could easily get the same volume pricing as any of their online competitors, anyways, i digress. this adpater worked fine until i used ANY bittorrent application. it would start to download fine, then instantly kill the entire connection. i'd have to unplug the adapter ti get back online. i tried a plethora of settings and used my knowledge to research the issue. it seems that it may be torrent-over-wifi in general, but i had past roommates using other adapters and it worked fine, so you make the call on this.

Couldn't measure it against anything except that the internal wireless card in my laptop had the same wireless signal strength as when I installed this adapter. No real improvement in my case.

What's great about it: Pretty easy setup
What's not so great: No Linux Support, Needs to be Reset Frequently, Pricey, Doesn't upload fast
If you are a casual internet browser, this should be just fine. I bought one of these to replace an internal card in my desktop build in January and have stopped using it 3 months later. It would stop working and need to be reset once a day. I also tried on several occasions to connect it to my PS3 to host media files and it would shut down after 20 minutes which isn't very helpful. All-in-all, it's a very mediocre wireless solution that would work for casual browsing but nothing data intensive or sustaining, at least with Windows 7.
