What's great about it: Easy to set up
What's not so great: Poor design
The number keys used for changing channels are at the bootom of the remote and very difficult to use with one hand. Either the numbers should be at the top of the remote or the remote should be rebalanced tomake it easier to use. It is very annoying to try to change channels with this design.

What's great about it: It does everything the package says it does.
What's not so great: The only down side is the keys are not back lit.
One of the best remotes I ever bought. The next one I buy will have the keys that light up.

What's not so great: Can't program website is too busy
My remote control is being used as a paperweight because the dumbazzes over at Logitech haven't figured out a way to provide enough bandwidth so that people can access the Harmony website, so they can program their remote controls.

What's great about it: Everything

Perfect. Plug it into you computer and go. It even found my Sylvanina LCD TV which wasn't available with a lot of other remotes.
The "Watch TV" feature is great- one button for customizable on/off.
If you forgot to program a button for functionality no worries- just connect it back into your computer, sign back into your account and add a function. Yes, it's that simple.
I think Harmony has a marketing problem because there should be no other universal remote out there- this is the one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this remote to replace my 3 remotes for my television, blu-ray player and cable box. The setup was incredibly easy, including the incredibly simple method of customizing button programs and teaching buttons form other remotes via face-to-face interaction. The only problem I have with it (and it's extremely negligible) is that you need to select a certain device in order for some things to function (after pressing the tv button, changing the input from HDMI 2 to HDMI 1, the guide button will not work until I press the cable button again.) Once again, this is very minor and I would highly recommend this remote to anyone in need of a solid, simple but detailed universal!
p.s. Just for kicks, I programmed the "aux" button to control my Xbox as I watch alot of Hulu and Netflix on it. Works like a charm!

I bought this remote to replace the one that came with my Samsung LCD
television. Being able to plug it into my Mac and simply load the codes was awesome, and to my surprise, there was even a code for my very old Sony Surround sound speakers. I ended up replacing 3 remotes. My only gripe (if any) is that to control the volume or quickly MUTE, I have to switch to the button that controls the speakers and then switch back to Cable to change the channel. It would be nice if I didn't have to switch back and fourth like on my cabe box remote. I'm guessing that if I bought one of the more expensive models I would have this feature?

What's not so great: It's bigger than the typical remote control
It was relatively simple to set up. It has gotten easier because there is no CD to install. You just plug it in and go to their website. The price is great. The newest model controls more devices, but its about $170 more. It's kinda big and cumbersome to handle. But, overall I like it. I works with UVerse.

Purchased an Open Box Home Theater, and after a few trips back and forth, they could not locate the remote. So I purchased this one on a recommendation from a sales associate. Had it set up in no time, but had to reconnect after finding out my home theater buttons weren't all set. This allowed easy customization of the buttons of how I wanted them with the drag and drop on their site. Really makes it nice now that I have all volumes combined, and don't have to constantly switch remotes.
My only suggestion is to take the extra 10 minutes or so to go through and look at buttons on some of the "Menu" choices, as they may not set on certain things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For all I payed for this remote It was the best investment I could buy for the price. It took the place of 3 remotes that the wife has. Know we can again play remote wars again.

Easy set up, customizable buttons, one remote replaces uptown for devices. Have a sheerwood av and this remote found the code automaticaly linked with it, no more walking infront of gatherings to turn volume down, love this product.

I was unable to find a universal remote code that worked for my KLH R-3100 receiver after searching the internet for monthes. I tried RCA and a Sony remote that is suppose to be able to scan directly from the original remote that both didn't work. Finally the Logitech Harmony 300 remote worked on the first attempt. This is by far the most technically advanced and easiest to program universal remote on the market! The brilliant drag n drop application from a PC makes programing this remote much easier than trying to program or scan the right code on other remote brands. The Logitech Harmony remote is a must for anyone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

In my years of goofing around with audio and video equipment I have tried quite a few different universal remotes (i.e. Sony, Universal, AR). This remote along with the support structure by far was the easiest remote I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

I lost my remote, and all I wanted was to be able to find a universal remote that works with my Blu-Ray player. It took me about 10 mins to load the remote online, and enter my TV, Blu-Ray Player, and DVD player. Get this remote, it is worth it.

What's great about it: all-in-one
after buying a Samsung 6000 LED TV, Samsung Soundbar, my Samsung Blu-Ray player and my TW cable box. I had 4 different remotes. When i needed to mess with the settings on the TV, i needed the TV remote. I wanted to watch a blu-ray, i needed my blu-ray player remote, ect ect ect. I always saw the Logitech Harmony's at BB and figured i try it out. My Samsung soundbar was the only one i questioned on getting it programmed because of the reviews on the soundbar, you could only use the remote it came with. It was all a breeze. Setup online and simply plug your harmony remote via USB to your computer and it sync's it to your settings. there's no eject button on this remote so I was able to configure a certain button (i use the record to eject) and viola! I only have 4 devices so this remote worked best. I HIGHLY recommend this remote.

Ibought this remote because me tv remote broke and as of now couldnt be happier. I have bought and returned a logitech remote with the touch screen and was unable to set all of my devices to work by it, this remote however had no issues. The online setup was easy and for the cost it has been well worth it.

I got this remote and sync'd up 3 Insignia devices (TV, Blu Ray, Soundbar) and my Verizon cable in a matter of minutes. The website/software to add the devices was a piece of cake. The remotes does the majority of stuff that my other devices do.
