What's great about it: Good price, great sound
What's not so great: Took a while to adjust in-ceiling
I bought these the price was a little higher than the others, and these had better reviews than the others at my Best Buy store, but I was skeptical that they wouldn't have enough power, but sure enough, with only 20 watts per channel coming from my amp, they have GREAT bass and get VERY loud. Now, keep in mind the treble (unequalized) isn't too great, but with my amp outputting the treble at +10gain, they sound AWESOME!
A little tweaking is needed, but these really are the BEST BUY.

The sound from these ceiling speakers are great and can be heard by the pool and not being turned up much. Great full sound like my stereo

What's great about it: Take up no floor space
What's not so great: A lot of work and expense to install
I don't think the speakers are a good value after you factor in all the work involved in installing them. Running the wires required breaking many wholes in the ceiling and then patching and painting the ceiling again. They should be about $75. The sound quality, however, is nice and the fact that they don't take up any space is a bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great set of speakers for in-ceiling rear channel

What's great about it: Directional Tweeter, Easy Install, Great Sound
What's not so great: Nothing yet!
I purchased a pair of these Polk 6-1/2" speakers today at Best Buy to replace a pair of shelf mounted rear speakers in my family room. I mounted these in-ceiling and the sound is fabulous. The installation was simple with supplied template and my handy sheetrock knife.
I would recommend this to a friend!
