What's great about it: good price
The product is good for what I needed it for.I needed an update for my Gps and it was the right one to get.No probelms at all.Easy to install.

What's not so great: Misrepresentation of product and my useless GPS.
This DVD update was sold to me as current through 2010 . The DVD had a date of 2011 on the label. I downloaded and found the program was different in many respects however I noticed that 3 and 4 year old streets were missing . I attempted to reload the program thinking it didn't download but the Garmin software indicated new program was on my GPS .Took it back to Best Buy for refund after they verified it was outdated. Later in the day I found that the map had been erased and my original map was also lost making my GPS useless without one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to install
What's not so great: Too big for some Garmins' memory
I intended to upgrade my nuvi 200W to maps of Canada. The DVD worked well, all I had to do was plug in my Garmin with a usb cable and insert the DVD and follow the directions. However, you don't find out until you open the package that some Garmins do not have enough memory to store all the maps. This of course was the case with mine. Since I have GPS for the US on my smart phone I decided to wipe out the United States and install a reduced set of maps of Canada and the border states. I am taking a trip to Canada and I specifically wanted those maps. End results: 50 bucks for maps for 5 days in Canada, totally lost US maps off the Garmin. No recovery since this was a one time upgrade. I wrote to Garmin but they have a 3 day response time and I am leaving in a week so I said what the hell but I feel ripped off. It does not state this limitation on the outside of the package. Too tired to fight for money back. Eating this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
