What's great about it: eye opening
What's not so great: He yells.
I bought this DVD and was laughing so hard in the first 30 minutes. His bit about, "What has a Republican or a Democrat ever done for you?," was genius!! Lewis Black helps me justify my anger with this world and makes me feel like I'm not alone! Lewis Black's Stark Raving Black is a cynics war cry!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lewis is back to the grind with this new cd. HIs rants are politically and socially relevant to our world today, and, beyond that, his raw style is a nice contrast to the mostly dull and bland style of most comics today. I highly recommend it!

What's great about it: Hilarious
I absolutely love love love Stark Raving Black, one of the funniest CD's to ever hit the market, in my opinion. I've been following Lewis Black for quite some time now and I have to say, no work of his ever disappoints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stark Raving Black is a different kind of comedy Lewis Black gives us, still completely hilarious and forward and definitely worth the money!

What's great about it: LB doesn't disappoint, but is more entertaining. I've been waiting for a new special to come out for some time now!
What's not so great: it's not long enough! i always want more of LB
He was busy with a television show, but now has a new special out, and I've been waiting awhile for it. After seeing him live in Charlotte, NC back in July 2008, I knew I'd want to see him live again. I hope he tours again and comes to my town because this would definitely be a performance not to miss. His mannerisms, emotional reactions, and just common sayings that you can even find on a soundboard online now, are worth seeing in person and they never get old to hear from him. This special definitely is his best and I don't know how he can top it.
