This unit has all the features and portability that you could want, and the price of the refurbished unit made it a steal. Higher priced units have bigger screens and more funny voices to give directions. But this has everything you'll need. Traffic notices are free, with only some small advertisements popping up that don't get in the way at all. I may buy another to put in my wife's Lexus. I like this unit better than the one in her LS430, and the $40 update is cheaper than the $250 Lexus charges!

What's great about it: Pricing
It has bluetooth that was a main requirement for me.But it costs less than a normal GPS.Reburbished product doesnt matter

What's great about it: NOTHING
What's not so great: BAIT AND SWITCH AD
Read the fine print. The unit only comes with the power cable for the receiver, not the actual FM receiver itself. The advertised traffic watch feature requires you buy extra hardware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The traffic module is included. Here is a list of everything that comes in the box with a nuvi 265T:
o nüvi 265
o Preloaded City Navigator® NT North America
o Lifetime traffic
o FM traffic receiver with vehicle power cable (indicated by "T" after model number on the box)
o Vehicle suction cup mount
o USB cable
o Dashboard disc
o Quick start manual
The customer made the comment: “The unit only comes with the power cable for the receiver, not the actual FM receiver itself.” The power cable referred to IS the FM traffic receiver. The FM traffic receiver is integrated into the power cable. It’s called a GTM 25 and having the traffic integrated into the power cable eliminates the need for multiple accessories.
Chances are that the customer doesn’t realize that the traffic module is integrated into his power cable. He mentioned having a power cable which means he has the traffic receiver as well. If the customer needs further support, I would encourage him to contact Garmin’s Product Support number at 1-800-800-1020 and a representative would be more than happy to assist.

What's great about it: Downloading pre-programmed routs from "Google Maps"
What's not so great: Need to install "ActiveSync" program from Microsoft & Battery is not pre charged
Garmin arrived, in a timely manner. Needs to be charged before use this can be done through your computer or car, You MUST be in an open area first time you turn it on to pick up sat. link to find home. Home location is not exact, but close enough as I already know where I live.
Ease of use: - Quick start guide (paper booklet) is ok, but not in depth as I like to know what everything is used for have to go to www.garmin.com to download and view each piece of information, it is not an all in one PDF file.
If running "Windows XP Home", you must download a "ActiveSync" file which took me about an 30 minutes to find through Microsoft and Bing so the computer will sync up with your Garmin - One other item, you need to physically go in and change your com port settings - com port #6 must be activated so the software will easily sync with the Garmin.
Google Maps has the ability to send a mapped route GPS to you "Garmin" Account on line and upload the map to the unit - Drawback: The route has to be exact; such as city to city, or to an exact destination or Google will only email the route to your inbox.
The micro memory card slot is great for more information/maps/routs as it only has a little over 500 Meg memory installed.
All in all, I would recommend this item.
The other reason for purchasing it, is "Harley-Davidson" uses Garmin for their GPS units on their motorcycles.
