What's great about it: Connectivity
What's not so great: rolls over easily; needs a kind of firm hold such as a stand
Joining this adapter to my WIFI was a breeze. I do not have a problem playing 3d content from the web using this adapter. It is simply awesome and the price is reasonable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: It rarely works!
We didn't like this wireless adapter. It worked decently for the first few days but it was downhill from there. We were constantly checking connections, resetting the internet, reconfiguring the tv, removing/replacing adapter, etc all in an effort to find out why the heck the thing wouldn't work consistently. We finally hooked the tv up to the ethernet cable and everything works so smoothly ALL THE TIME now! We give this adapter a big thumbs down!

What's great about it: size and easy installation
What's not so great: dosen't work
I installed it simply by pluging it into a USB port on the side of the TV. Set up was easy, but when I tried to watch a movie from NetFlix, it would run about 1 to 2 minutes then say it was buffering, and then it would say it lost wi fi connection which was only about 10" away. Returned it to BB and purchased a Sony Blu-Ray player which was wi fi ready it works great and will remain in my home for many years.

What's great about it: excellent wi fi signal from my router
great addition to my blu ray and give me excellent reception on my television if your streaming online.

What's not so great: I had to purchase it in the first place
Despite following the directions to the letter, the wireless adapter did not auto connect to my wireless router. It required connecting directly into the CISCO router in order to configure it completely. It has worked since the initial set-up. Also lowered the rating due to having to pay for a feature that seems like it should have been a part of the original television purchase.

What's not so great: NOTHING AS LONG AS IT CONTINUES TO WORK
EASY HOOK UP AND IT WORKS FINE.
THEY SAID I NEED MORE CONTENT TO ENTER THIS REVIEW SO HERE IT IS . LOVE THE BLACK COVER AND THE BOX IT CAME IN. THE CASHIER WAS A NICE WOMEN. STORE WAS CLEAN AND IT WAS A SUNNY DAY. I LIKE THE CLEAN RESTROOMS. LOL

I purchased this adapter to work with a Panasonic Blu Ray player that I have. I wanted to stream Netflicks . I found it very difficult to set up. After I got it set up it would connect to my wireless network but not to the internet. Work with it for hours. Returned to the store and exchanged for Apple TV.. should have done that from the start. Apple TV took less than 10 minutes from out of the box to streaming movies.

What's not so great: It quits working after 2-3 days
I ignored all the bad reviews assuming the others just didnt set it up correctly or had slow internet. It was very easy to set up and worked perfectly for 2-3 days and then just randomly stopped and would no longer find my wireless signal. I took it back to best buy and exchanged it for a new one and the same thing happened so i gave up and returned it. It was great for the 2 days that it did work...

How anyone can give this higher than a 1 is beyond me. I should have read the reviews. Like many have written, it wants to rebuffer every 3 minutes. Of course best buy does not care and will not return it. I waste a lot of money on gadgets this one takes the cake.

Previous reviews I read recommended that that onla a Panosonic wireless Adapter be used for this application. The adapter seems to work fine, and I am quite satisfied. However the price did not seem like an extremely good value.

I was told by the employee in electronics that all I had to do was plug it in, and it would configure it self.
After over 20 hours on the phone with Panasonic, Net Flix, AT&T, and Best Buy , I ended up taking the product back because each one blamed the other for the product not working.
The rude manager at Best Buy told me she did not care if I returned it or not. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!
I failed to mention that The GEEK Squad wanted $100 to come out and try to hookup the item,with NO guarantee it would work even then.

It's very helpful when you need a direct connection and surf the internet, in fact you can download easily netflix and other different applications.

Returned Product - Wouldn't Stay Connected

What's great about it: Small - Compact
What's not so great: Expensive - Doesn't work 100%
I own a 46" Panasonic Plasma Smart TV (TC-P46X3) and wanted to open up all the Viera tools that came with the TV via a wifi. The product easily installed on the side and detected the wifi in my home provided by AT&T DSL. However, the "Panasonic Wireless LAN Adapter" would frequently drop the connection with the router. I went as far as to move the router right next to the adapter to reduce the distance from the router to the TV, but to no avail. In order to get my TV hooked to the internet, I had to hard wire the TV directly to the router...that works perfect!!!! So, I took the adapter back. I would not recommend this product.

I purchased this product so that I could wirelessly stream Netflix to my new TV. I didn't want to have to run a wire from my TV to my internet router.
The router did work and was super simple to set up. However, the connectivity was so slow that Netflix shows would keep stopping to buffer. I could not watch even 10 minutes of a show or movie without it stopping to buffer.
In the end I had to return this product and get a wire to attached my TV to my internet router. Now Netflix works beautifully.
I don't recommend this product at all. Save your money and buy a cable. It's cheaper and more reliable.

I got this with a smart tv i got. and it worked like it should. But as I run my movies from Mybook on my home network it had to buffer the movie every five min, So I toke it back and ran aa network cabel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: doesn't work 90% of the time
Easy to install but horrible at holding a signal. This device allows every bit of interference possible. No other wifi items have had a problem but this one would cut out every 2 minutes...literally. Problem was due to interference. Better off using a hardwire unless your tv is right next to your modem. worthless otherwise.

What's not so great: kinda sticks out from my tv's side panel -
I purchased the Panasonic TC-P42S30 tv and opted NOT to buy this adapter because I thought it wasn't necessary. I had other things I could use to access things like Netflix, facebook and Pandora and I thought the price for this little gadget was CRAZY.
Uh - yeah...I can admit it. I was wrong! Well, the price is a little mind boggling to us non-techie-gadget makers, but having the convenience of accessing those fun apps without connecting your iPad or laptop is kinda sweet!
I was lucky enough to grab one on sale, but I'd have to say - it's worth it at MSRP, too. Connecting it was simple (after I figured out my CAPS LOCK was on when entering my wifi password - oops). I did have to update which took about 20 minutes, but no big deal.
This little lovely piece of technology just made me fall in love with my TV all over again! Woohoo!
I would recommend this to a friend!
