What's great about it: Price, learning experience, screen
What's not so great: Battery life, game selection
Great units for younger kids, have a 4&5 year old and they both get good use when taking a long car ride. This system is nice because there is a lot of learning involved not just playing games. But the game selection is pretty minimal. We bought a second unit recently and for the money you can get 2 of these for less than the cost of a ds.

What's great about it: Kids love them and there is a port for earbuds which make it wonderful for times when noise is a concern.
What's not so great: Power cord not included, although affordable at $10.
Bought three MobiGos this holiday for our neice and nephews, ages 4, 5 and 6. They loved them and I liked the fact that they were learning while playing video games.

My son has loved this game system since the time that we got it for him. We have to actually take it away from him because he wants to play it so much.

What's great about it: very easy for kids to use
What's not so great: runs on batteries, downloaded games only last til you shut off game.
This game runs on 4 batteries and does not have auto shut off so you run through batteries quick! I would prefer a rechargable game with no batteries like nintendo etc...
My 3 year old does not have problems opening the keyboard as I have read on other reviews but we will see with time if it gets stuck.
I do agree 100% with other reviewers that the biggest problem with the game is that you can download games but then instantly have them deleted the moment the game is turned off. Who could possibly have thought this was a good idea??
My son has autism so he completely freaks out when this happens so much so that I no longer download anything. I can attest that the game is very sturdy to have survived my son hurling it out the car window when the newly downloaded games were deleted. And finally the on/off button could be a little bigger and visible for tiny folks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
