I used DXi525's as front speaker upgrades in a 1998 Mack truck. They sound great, and due to the enclosure in which they are mounted, they really produce an incredible amount of bass for a 5.25" speaker! Rated power might only be 45w rms, but they are taking a lot more than that in my system. It's hard to believe they do so well for a speaker in their price range.

These by far are, for the money, the best speakers out there! I owned a pair of Alpine S Type series 5 1/4 speakers that sounded very muddy compared to these. I recommend these speakers to whoever wants a great distortion free sound for that price range.

Wow. Crystal clear highs, great bass. I'm using 2 pair of these in a motorcycle, and they are crystal clear even with loud pipes and 70++ mph. Using a Sony head unit. Best mobile audio speakers I have heard in years.

Justv installed a set of these babies in the doors of my suburban-- wonderful sound for the size. I`m a big blues and classic rock kinda guy and they do a trmendous job.
