Leaking black tar looking liquids

I bought many sets of magic bullet blenders over the past 15+ years. I would say its quality has gotten worse and worse. After 4~5 months of light use, it not only made big noises, but also leaked some black tar looking liquids into food which is really a health concern (you don't realize it until you blend some light color food). Totally lost trust on this brand and switched to another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste your money

I used this blender 3 times and it stopped working. I got it for a Christmas gift. Ridiculous.

Great family member for over 20yrs

I got my first magic bullet 2004 Christmas. It's now 2025/6 and I just stopped when it got hot. It's getting old now but, I hope my next one last just as long or longer. I'm still going to keep the original till it stops completely. I blend everything egg shells for garden, dried veggies to make seasoning, smoothies, oatmeal to make flour, corn to make corn meal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheap junk

Bought this to puree cooked fruits and vegetables for our baby girl, loved the convenience of only having to wash a small think and not the massive blender we have.
Works ok, but lasts about 1-2 months. Cheap rubber material they use to make the drive gears strip very easily. We ONLY use this to puree cooked fruits and vegetables, NEVER used for smoothies and such that requires crushing ice which is more demanding for the machine, and yet the drive gear stripped and melted. We loved the convenience of it so much that we thought it might have been a defect so we gave it another shot, bought another one and same thing, one month later stripped rubber gear. There's a one year warranty, but we need to pay shipping and handling to get it fixed or exchanged, and then we would get another cheap piece of junk and continue shipping the junk back and forth every month? No thanks, threw it where it belongs, in the trash can! Bought a kitchen aid chopper/puree machine, works like a charm and has a metal drive which is at least reliable...
Very unhappy with this magic bullet single shot piece of junk. Definitely not recommending this to anyone! Unless you like useless and worthless junk.
