I had a magic bullet several years ago and used it daily, no problem. I just ordered a new one and it won't blend my frozen smoothie mixes. I don't know if the frozen stuff is too difficult to blend, I am adding plenty of liquid. I ended up throwing away my nutribullet last year because it leaked terribly and was more trouble than it's worth. Huge David Wolfe fan bit afraid this endorsement was misleading.

I was happy with my purchase until I noticed the motor rotation system was eating up the bottom of both blades. I didn't get much use out of my product and it has been sitting in its box in my garage for over 5 years, now I want to give it away to a friend who has a baby and needs to make baby food, it is so new that I want to purchase the replacement blades so she gets some use out of it before it breaks again. This company sure knows their product and should be giving out the replacement parts for free. I GOT MYSELF A NINJA BULLET LAST YEAR. ITS GREAT AND THE BOTTOM OF THE BLADES IS STILL INTACT!

Rubber falls apart

I've had my magic bullet awhile when I got a good deal on it.. I've just now begun making smoothies every morning with it.. I've been using fresh fruit that I've frozen (doesn't get as rock hard as store bought frozen fruit).. Mix yogurt, carrot juice, powders.. Yesterday my magic bullet starts making some weird noises so I remove it. The blade spins using a rubberized grip that sits into a hard plastic turner.. The turner completely ate up the rubber.... Lucky yesterday I found my spare blade.. Go to work with my smoothie.. This morning, same thing!! The blade didn't even make it to finish one smoothie.. Now I'm going to have to just jump back into my ninja since I know that works.. Only plus to the magic bullet was the perfect cup to go.. OH and now I have this weird white powder from the rubber all over my kitchen that I have to clean up for the second time!!

I bought my Magic Bullet over a year ago. It worked fine until recently, when I started noticing that it was getting more difficult to turn the cup to "pulse". It would get stuck for a few seconds then start. One fateful morning, as I was making my favorite smoothie, the motor attachment just froze. Did not turn or even move.To the point that I could not even get it off! I tried turning the power off, getting my husband to twist it off but to no avail. After 3 days of trying , I finally had to discard it! :(( Wish they made a better product!. I would love to have another one but am afraid it will be a waste of my money!

We've had it for less than a year and the cup will not come off of the base rendering it useless.

Very versatile, you can make whipped cream/butter, salsa, batter, mix eggs, make protein shakes, anything you want liquefied. Grind coffee, black pepper. Make purees for yourself/pet if have difficulty eating solid food. Things it won't grind: frozen baby carrots! I tried to blend them with the ice crushing blade and the rubber "legs" underneath the blade lid got sheared right off. I have two bullets-- the original old design and the newer one. Old one accepts the new blades/cup, but the new one doesn't (you can't lock it without using considerable force). Also, it won't make you a chopped salad, it'll make you a salad smoothie. :)
