Lower Quality than "Original"

"Original" was way better and came with multiple blades. This is a distinct drop in quality and it shows in both look and feel and operation. Why degrade your product offering over time when you could have improved? It is sad the first model was better and the company couldn't keep that standard.

Could be so much better

I'm on my third magic bullet. I use them mostly to make smoothies. My major complaint is the cleaning instructions! Why would you say "Just place any of the pieces (except the Power Base) on top shelf of dishwashe" THEN...next sentence is "Do not put the blades in the dishwasher." I haven't done that but the gasket on my last bullet leaked and the base has liquid coming out the bottom. There is no visible problem with the gasket so it must be the quality (lack of). These things are so cheaply made that this will have to be my last one.

Doesn't work with frozen fruit...

I received this product, brand new, for Christmas. I used it for the first time today to make a smoothie and it could not blend frozen mango and took much longer than the promised fifteen seconds to blend it all. Even after blending for around a minute, there were still large chunks of mango in my smoothie. It was pretty disappointing.

Life Saver

I bought this in fall of 2009 while undergoing radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. It enabled me to get all the nutrition necessary and, to this day in 2016, I still use it daily for my healthy shakes and it still is my go to appliance. Yep, cancer free and I am still loving my magic bullet. Had to write this review because it continues to be my life saver!

I made sure to register for this on our wedding registry. I absolutely loved how easy it was to use for my smoothies but owning it less than a year the rubber and plastic parts started to rub and burn off. (The part in the bullet stand and the twist off part with blades) The bullet made an awful sound and would not blend. I only used it for these smoothies, very disappointed. I had high hopes for this product to last and it didn't even last a year.

Great concept, poor execution

We've had 2 Magic Bullets because they seem so convenient (and they are); however, they're just not put together well. We've had the same problem with both: all of the key interlocking parts are soft rubber or hard plastic and they both wear out WAY too quickly. The power of the motor could be better too. It's a shame to say that, because the size and the concept of it working the way it should is very appealing, but they just haven't perfected it yet. And yes, we have carefully read the instructions to ensure we are using it properly.

Cheap cups

Not happy with the cups provided with my magic bullet, all the plastic tabs on the cups I use have broken off - 2 large cups and one medium one...toast. I am down to one cup. After the first tab broke off I made sure I handled everything carefully but a second tab broke and it wouldn't work, same story with the other 2 cups...cheaply made but expensive to replace.
