very dissapointed

I got this when it came out new and paid lot of money. but then all of a sudden it stopped working, and hardly used this and I still have the attachement which never been used and tried to used the attachement it wont work either. it looks the motor went out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken in 3 months

We got the bullet as a wedding present and one of the little white tabs broke then today (8 months later all the rubber came off of the bottom of the blade and now we can't use the machine at all. I am a little disappointed in the poor quality of this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my magic bullet

The magic bullet is something everyone needs in the kitchen
It works as seen on TV. The only problem I have I should of order two
We love it so I'm going to order my personal magic bullet. Thank you magic bullet we now can fuss about using something healthy I am loving it.

Enjoy product, but not the best quality

I've been using this blender for about a year now. My family enjoys making smoothies of many varieties, and I'd say we use it several times a week at least. It does a good job of blending ice and items used to mix with it (fruit, nut butters, milk, ice cream, etc.). I will say that when blending ice the blender is extremely loud. We usually have to walk into the next room because we can't hear each other talking in the kitchen. The consistency and flavor turn out pretty well. I've also used the flat blade for blending spices and coffee beans (only when my burr grinder wasn't working). It worked fine for that as well.
Recently I've noticed that the blender has been leaking under the quad rotor blade assembly. I have repeatedly seen liquid in the base of the motor portion of the blender, and I'm worried that this will lead to damage or bad smells (or both). I've checked the seals and all of that, and even made sure that the blade is securely tightened to the cup. The leakage is coming from under the blade and into the motor cavity. It's still working, but I don't think I would buy this one again. It's worked for me so far, and it wasn't terribly expensive. However the noise and quality would lead me elsewhere.

I got Magic Bullet as a Christmas present. Used it 6 times. Stopped working. Bummer. Anyone else have this problem?

Some good some bad

I am on my 3rd Bullet. Not because of the motor failing but due to the failure of the blades. They wear out and then leak. I use my bullet daily and I am happy with the results. But the failure of the blades due to friction causes wear and then leakage into the motor. Against the instructions advice I cleaned it under the sink and it got very wet. Let it dry and still works. I had 2 more motors/bases so had nothing to lose. I am waiting for replacement blades to come in and I hope they work. They have a limited life and will not last forever. I am trying to keep them lubed with olive oil now to see if they will extend their life. I have noticed the cups are starting to crack and haze and some of the "ears" on the cups have broken off. I would consider this normal wear. I do however see the blade wear as excessive and a point failure. I not even sure if a replacement blade will fix the issue since it may have increased the size of the hole in the base as it wore out. And as I said I use mine daily. I find the flat blade excellent for grinding nuts into a paste suitable for a nut butter. And so much easier to clean then a large blender. If you are good knowing you will be replacing the blades and possibly the black base occasionally or buying a new one then I recommend this product. Note: My use may be excessive, I use mine bullet maybe 3 times a day everyday. And the motor is like a tank, that, I'd rate easily a 5/5.

At first I really liked the Bullet until I tried filling the very small blender cups either a bit too full or with frozen berries. It is very noisy and under powered and you need to leave plenty of dead open space in your mixing cup for it to operate correctly. The simplicity is nice though, but I wonder how long it will be until it breaks.
