Sleek and Easy to Use

I've had this toaster oven for a few weeks now and have been able to use it for a wide variety of things. I love being able to melt my butter or cheese right onto my bread. The toast function takes a few tries to get the darkness just right and you have to make sure you turn the dial past 10 each time so that it stops at the right time. It's worked great though for the basics like toast and freezer waffles as well as baking small batches of frozen fish sticks and the like. It's been nice to not have to warm up the oven just to cook a few little things. I love the curved housing and the sleek design of the unit and the removable crumb tray makes cleaning and upkeep much easier. It would be awesome if the exterior didn't get so hot just for safety reasons, but that's to be expected with an oven.
I received this product as a sample to review, however I feel that it is a good value for the price and would have been happy had I purchased it.

I recieved this toaster oven as a sample, and so far it has worked just fine. It warms up pretty quickly, and it has baked the cookies I made well. (I made some large-sized cookies, and this oven can bake one at a time.) I keep the oven in my drawer, and it's compact enough to fit nicely. My husband makes toast in it and it works well with that also. So far so good!

Great for cooking small jobs

This oven has made things a little easier in my kitchen. We are able to toast our bread to our own tastes without having to constantly adjust the setting. You can see the toast brown as it cooks and take it out at the appropriate time. Also, we eat a lot of fried foods and they reheat much better in the toaster oven than the microwave. There is not soggy, tasteless mess of fried food you normally get when using a microwave. Small snacks can be cooked in just a few minutes instead of waiting 20 minutes for the oven to preheat. However, it would be nice if the oven was a little larger to hold larger portions of food. The oven itself feels sturdy and the knobs feel tight, but the baking pan included feels very flimsy. Since the oven is so small it can make getting things out difficult. We have found the easiest way is to use a small pair of tongs to pull the rack out and then grab the baking pan. Overall, this oven has replaced our toaster and handles a lot of jobs that are just too small for our conventional oven.

great oven

This toaster oven is great for the price. I use it daily. It heats up pretty fast and cooks the food fast. I use it to cook chicken nuggets,corn dogs,pizza rolls, Sandwiches,and even fish. It's compact which works for me because my counter space is limited. I no longer have to use the big oven for the snacks for the kiddos. Overall it's a great oven.

Easy to use, reheats pizza better than microwave.

I received this product as part of a product testing campaign. Having said that, I have used it nearly every day since I received it. It makes toast easily, and since I often eat pizza, it reheats pizza much better than a microwave. It's small, sleek and compact - I would highly recommend this.

Easy to Use!

I got this toaster a couple weeks ago and have used it everyday since. It has replaced my microwave for most foods; it's quick and easy to use. Cannot wait to bring it with me when I move next month! Just a note: I did receive this product via free testing campaign, but my experiences are real - my opinions are true from what I have personally experienced. Good product!

Oster Toaster Oven

I enjoyed this product. It was perfect for my countertop and did not take up too much space. It great to use when I want to make sandwiches for dinner or little pizza. It get to the heat I need and is great on cooking. Disclaimer- I received this item as a free sample

Good Assistant, not a real workhorse

I was really excited about receiving the Oster 4 Slice Toaster Oven in the mail about 3 weeks ago. Once I got it out of the box and packaging I was a little surprised that it so lightweight and somewhat tinny looking; the overall appearance doesn't look high end, but doesn't look too cheap either. It is black with silver trim and does match well with my stainless steel appliances.
Regarding the oven's functionality, I was very pleased with how it toasted bread and english muffins. It did take me few times to get the toast level right (light to dark) and found that you have to set it almost towards the dark setting to get a medium level of toast color. In addition, I found it takes about 4 minutes for it to toast to that level, which I found to be a bit slow.
The interior size of the toaster is on the small size. It does have baking capabilities, but since it is so small I do not see using it to bake anything large since the directions state that you should use the enclosed baking tray with is only 6" x 9". It will hold about one slice of pizza for a quick warm up.
I don't feel that this is going to a workhorse in my kitchen, but I think it will do the job if you are looking for toaster or an option for quick single serving item warm up.
