Built in surround is expensive flimsy and looks dented just because its very thin material. Hard to install

I bought this microwave about 6 months ago and love it, I will always stick with GE I gave refrigerator that has lasted 25 years already never had a problem also just bought a upright freezer love it love it, can't beat GE appliances they are very dependable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was used to put the food in heat then move on. I'm still impressed/annoyed that when using defrost this thing KNOWS if the item was or was not rotated and tells me about it

Timer issue

I'm very happy with the looks and performance of the microwave except for the fact that the timer is not loud enough and, more importantly, when time expires, it only beeps three times. My old profile would beep until it was turned off, which allowed one to be in another room and eventually hear it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good oven but trim kit was expensive

This is quieter and heats faster than our oven it replaced. I really am pleased with its operation and would recommend it. But, I am unhappy with the relative expense of the trim kit. It was nearly 75% the cost of the oven. This doesn't seem to be unique to GE but I still wonder why.
