Love the color. Heats well, evenly and quickly. Special programmed buttons for more than just popcorn. Only drawback is larger size.

Nice BIG microwave

It is a full sized microwave. It also has all of the settings we wanted; push a number and it cooks for that amount of minutes, add 30 seconds, adjustable power, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Failed in less than 1.5 years.

We bought a new house in Katy 16 months ago and tonight while my wife warmed up dinner, the microwave just stopped working. I checked the breaker and GFCI outlet in the house and that wasn't the issue. To make matters worse, it's a wall mount so I can't check the outlet and plug myself without a lot of work to undo the set up. Ugh!!! As a GE employee, I've come to expect more from a GE appliance as I've owned a few.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave comes with lots of fancy programs.....if you want to learn them. Or, if your like me and just use it to reheat your left overs, defrost your meat, melt your butter and pop your popcorn - it has quick buttons to get the job done fast. Looks as good as it works. Only one issue I found with my install - currently they don't offer a 27" trim kit in slate, but they do in 30" This would be for a built-in look.

My old microwave shorted out. I replaced it with this GE model. It fit perfectly in the built-in space. Like the features and very happy with the looks (I switched to Stainless Steel). So then I had to replace my old black oven to have a matching set. Love the oven also.
