Horrible heating element

Have had this a year. Is currently out of commission. Heat element has gone out twice. Now the entire microwave is not working. Very frustrating, especially with 3 kids under 5!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its just ok. My old GE microwave, which was only 2 years old, was so much better. Except that it quit working! I can't read the display panel on this one without my glasses. With the majority of the population getting older, I would think that before you manufacture a product that it would be thoroughly tested and reviewed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced an older GE Microwave that worked fine but this one is more powerful and performs great.

leaking radiation

I just had a home inspection before I get my C/O and close on the house. The home inspector showed me with his gauge that the microwave oven was leaking radiation.

Leaking micro wave

The microwave is new and never used. I did not move into the house yet. The home inspector showed me that it was leaking micro waves with his instrument.

Why we replaced existing microwave

Our existing microwave (Model #JE2160SF01) was 9 years old and still worked, but the round track under the inside plate rusted out, as well as some rust on the door. We replaced with Model #PEB7226SFSS to keep the kitchen appliances matching as much as possible. The new microwave was easy to install and works well. Although it is recommended on line to purchase a new Trim Kit (JX2030) when purchasing the new microwave, I found that my existing Trim Kit (JX2030) fit the new microwave and trim match was not objectionable. This made the installation extremely easy and saved $220, too.
