Worked well after replacing 2 control panel boards

Put this as a replacement to a 30 year old microwave when we remodeled our kitchen. The microwave is working ok now but it blew 2 control panel boards in first 2 uses that needed to be replaced hence the mediocre rating

Vegetables on fire

This is third microwave of this model that I purchased. The product works well except the sensor for vegerables. I placed a bowl of fresh baby spinach in the oven and used the sensor for fresh vegetables, walked away for a minute, returned and the dish broke and the spinach was on fire. The only reason I bought another one was it is only model that fits my cabinet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am glad I got the stainless and like it. It was installed Sat. and the door did not seem to close unless you shut it hard. But I used some silicone and now it is closing better. Just mentioning in case I have a problem later.

I bought this a few months ago. Same watts as my last GE profile in wall microwave, but this one is definately not as strong. Food takes much longer to cook or reheat. It does look good and matches my profile oven

huge interior

I've been using this microwave for 3 months. The interior is huge. Seems to be very good at heating evenly. The only downside is a strange thin, square cover on the side of the microwave that looks like cardboard. My husband researched it, and it needs to remain in place, but because it is so thin and "carbboardy", I don't know how long it will be able to be cleaned and look decent.
