THIS IS THE SECOND GE MICROWAVE WE HAVE HAD AND REALLY APPRECIATE THE EASY TO READ PANEL, THE VERSATILITY OF THE CONTROLS AND OVERALL PRODUCT QUALITY.

Stopped working....

This was installed in our remodeled home. We moved in on 1 March and it stopped working before Christmas. Reliability is NOT good!

Completely broke down after only 2 years

We built a new house 2 years ago and bought all new appliances. This microwave was included in the appliances. After only 2 years, the microwave turns on but does not heat whatever is inside. We had the appliance store come out to try and fix the issue. They told us that the part needed to fix it was the main heating part and it would cost as much as a new microwave. Piece of junk!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave is good so far

I bought this a few weeks ago as a replacement to the GE Monogram. The Monogram lasted almost 10 years without problem. So far, I dont have any complaints other than to warn you about American Home Shield as a warranty company. When my Monogram went out they would only replace it with a Profile and I had to pay to upgrade from Black or White to Stainless even though all of my other appliances including the Monogram microwave was stainless. Beware of American Home Shield.
