Not bad for a microwave

We really wanted a convection microwave in the black/slate color, but this is the best we could do. Still, it works well; the reheat function works great. We have had it for three months and we are still learning.

Easy to use microwave

When it was time to replace our GE Profile Microwave/Convection oven of 15 years, it made sense to go with a simple microwave. What was now going to take 6 steps just to heat a cup of water on the exact replacement, takes the same 1 step on the programmed keys on this unit.
It's easy to use, does the job of microwaving, and even has useful features like one button for baked potato which I use frequently.
While I wish it had a handle to match the new GE Wall Oven we replaced, this microwave still looks good and is easy to use and we know, we'll get another 15 years of use.

10X better than the model it replaced!

Our 8-year old GE "over the stove" microwave finally gave up the ghost. We bought this as a replacement. The features are excellent as is the power. I love this microwave! The only downside is that the timer only beeps once so I often miss it amidst the noise of the kids, pets and TV. Otherwise, a great product for the price.

This purchase was to replace a more expensive microwave with lots of bells and whistles that I didn't need or use. The G.E. does everything I need it to do simply and efficiently.

We updated our kitchen and replaced appliances that were over 28 years old. Even though the old GE microwave worked the new one is so much better. Its a matter of getting use to all the new buttons and realizing the amount of time needed is a lot less than the old one.
