I have purchased GE microwaves for decades ( since the 1970s, actually) but your new ovens are far superior in design (much better interiors) and your controls are far better and easier to use. Thank You.

Looks and feels cheap - is plastic and NOT metal

I'm disappointed with this new GE suite of appliances. At first, I was excited to have the matte color, but I didn't realize it would be PLASTIC. It feels cheaply made. Even the button to open/close the door feels like junk. It is not a pleasure to use. I miss my old GE microwave. Also, the trim kit is ridiculously expensive and has the slightest bow at the top. So, if you're replacing a built-in, even if you ALREADY have a trim kit, prepare for your cabinet doors to be moved or a carpenter to drill more holes in your cabinets. Just because of that little "designer accent." Hey, GE, can I exchange my purchase for stainless steel??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
