GE brand, Poor quality

We got it with conventional oven package in our new home. It worked OK for about 2 years out of which we were not using it for 6-7 months. Heating stops if used for over 2 min. Steam accumulates in the oven when used for longer period. Oven runs but not heating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this microwave less than a year ago and it is already broken. Itcwill not heat at any level. I'm extremely disappointed in the dependability of this product.

This microwave replaced a 26 year old GE(still working). Such a wonderful difference! We wish we would have replaced the old one years ago. So much more efficient!

Not a happy camper!

This same model was installed in our new home three years ago and we have had the repair man out three times about 12 months apart to repair some mal-function or another. We finally bought a new item and are hoping that this provides more reliable service.

Good oven

Our 2004 just quit.....called local store and waalaa another Profile. I love GE products and have been a loyal customer for several years. This microwave is a bit different than old one. A feature complaint I have is that of the defrost mode. Place an item in and select poundage after a few minute one has to open and shut again to fool the machine to keep defrosting. Annoying since one has to be in the area of the oven to do this. Walk away and come back later to it saying turn over food!

Great Product, but not reliable :(

Purchased this product just 3 years ago and have used it daily - just the two of us - normal home use. It just stopped working. This is the second GE Profile Microwave that has stopped working for us - but we love the features, so we purchased an extended 4 year warranty as protection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
