They could have improved a few things.

I think they could have produced a better menu set and a more contemporary push button/control panel. I also had to buy a matching current-rated three-way tap for the power cord because its stiffness necessitated the microwave to sit almost at the lip of the counter. They could have provided a newer style plug with 90-degree pins in relatiion to the plug body.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a new one about a year ago....it stopped working just before the year warranty was valid....so I received a new one....will the new/different one last...????

I bought this to replace a 10 year old Panasonic which gave very good service. I am thrilled with the newer options and performance of this GE. I would have traded in the other long ago if I had known the enhancements were this good.

Great replacement microwave

My wife and I purchased this after our previous GE microwave failed...after 11 years. We are very happy with this one and suspect that it will be as reliable as the previous one. The slightly larger interior and rotating plate are helpful.
