A few design flaws, but generally good

Works well and with good power. Looks great. Only suggestions for improvement:
1. Control panel is hard to see and use unless you are right in front of it, necessitating leaning down. Main buttons are not different from less-used buttons. Has kind of a wrinkly appearance.
2. Unit is noisy when in use
3. All that chrome and glass too easily shows fingerprints.

issues with microwave and other GE appliances

this microwave has a very poor door, you have to press hard to get it to close properly and for light to go out. the guy installing it warned us that we would have to do this. This is our 3rd build in GE microwave and first two worked great. we have been in this house for 16 years, so 8 years for each. I wonder if this one is going to last. ??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
