Sensor failed/knocking noise appeared w/in 90 days

The reheat sensor failed & it started making a rhythmic knocking noise within 90 days of purchase. See the photo below for what it did to a piece of chicken, and the sensor didn't think it was done reheating yet. Shouldn't have walked away, so now have to watch it like a hawk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave is easy to use, and heats well. The ergonomics of the touch pad could be better - location of cook, start, and cancel buttons. Our died before 2 years which is surprising and sad. It started but there was no heat. Finally replaced with the same one to avoid spending cost on another trim since ours is placed in a shelf over the oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unit arrived with significant dimple in upper right hand corner. It is now making strange rattling sounds but appears to be operating.

I bought this microwave in Aug' 2014 to replace an 8 year old GE built in Profile microwave. It worked well (not as powerful as the old model) but after 2 1/2 years the wiring went bad and started to smoke. Had GE repair come and took one second to tell that it could not be fixed and had to replace. After checking the reviews it appears to be common issue. Quality is not the same and wondering if worth investing in another one just save on new trim kit that will last only 2 years???
